I think I'm in the boat of many people who have a hard time trying to figure out how to strategize with this game. Im gonna keep trying at it when I have time cause I'm interested to see if I can really figure it out.

Not familiar with games like this so I found it difficult and don’t think I could come close to winning, but the theme is really well done. Great mechanics in place and the overall idea and implementation works really well. Full marks for innovation from me as I haven’t seen any other system like this, great work done for two days.
The start was painful, I didn’t understand how it worked until I realized the inner shade was the step of the growth/decay. I almost failed and was entirely circled, but my core were very solid so I was able to overgrow the corruption and won. Nice 👌 Kudos for Pico-8 ✨
This is great. I would buy a more complex version of this on steam. I felt like I was playin my gameboy again good mood
Interesting idea and good game! But for some reason my stones is decaying.
The game feels like an old gameboy game, I like the kind of sandbox but the corruption is in my opinion spreading a little fast. Overall good game!
Awesome :D. I spent way too much time on this game xd. I let the decay spread through the whole level and barricaded myself behind a rock fortress, slowly fighting off the decay. reminds me of creeper world, it was very fun!
4/5
Interesting idea. It is currently a little bit too simple and easy to win but it takes a lot of time. It has great potential tho to become a great game.
Good job, well done.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback.
At first I wanted to allow the player to place multiple cells each turn and I had other mechanics in mind with more evolutions and more conditions that would require the player to wait some time until things evolve so the rock was here to make a wall slowing the decay.
But I didn't know how to show everything properly (my art skills are... limited) and I didn't have the time to make everything so I shrank the scope of game to something smaller that I can release in time.
I found a infinite loop but I cant show the video but still a 7.7/10
Thank you for playing.
I didn't spend enough time testing to get the infinite loop but thank you for letting me know. Do you think you can describe how you did it? Or show a picture? (I don't know if its possible here but you can send it on Discord if you have one, my username is Florent on the LD discord.)
was a lot confusion for me , even in terms of navigation C for confirm felt lil out of the way for me , would have preferred space for confirming
great color pallet choice , i do understand its a simple game art wise so this was nice choice
tutorial and game-play are really unclear . it confused me a lot even when you did minor guidance using discord , so unsure about that part
great approach to theme for sure , growing and stopping decay is new in the jam kinda . not seen any other game who deals with decay stopping .
overall good game
