There's a neat couple of puzzles here. I like seeing a companion character used as a way to solve puzzles, it builds the relationship a partnership rather than like, hero/sidekick.
I liked it, reminds me of Gonbe/Otae from Muramasa Rebirth.
I liked the puzzles, having the ghost auto-move to a position instead of having to hold rmb is convenient, the initial placement of the "ghost-wall-rune thing" is smart as it intuitively explained how the ghost can't enter that area.
I really liked the art style, it definitely caught my eyes when looking at the cover image.
I feel like the ghost should heal a bit faster, just in case the player manages to be severely injured after the first enemy or so.
I look forward to seeing the update after the freeze period. :)
Art is amazing. I think the only thing that bothered me was that the camera didn't always keep the player in the center, so when enemies started attacking I wasn't even aware of it. Coincidentally, that added to the eerie-ness/scary part of the game so it didn't bother me too much, and your life regenerates so I never felt weak.
Everything about this game is so well made, even surprising for the little time, I didn't have a problem with the level design as others, but the music while wonderful, had very high volume by default
Thanks to all of you for the feedback, and we're so glad people have enjoyed playing this! (And I am personally thrilled at all the compliments on the art. :D)
Just so everyone knows, we're planning on fixing up all the bugs and posting the full game we wanted to make for the game jam (so everything that got cut from scope). Hopefully we'll have it done by the time the freeze period is over (I heard the 22nd or something floating around?) and we can post it then!
The art and character design look accurately like a professionally made RPG game. While there are not much of an exposition, but I got this sobering feeling from the interaction between the boy and the ghost.
Heyyy, yeah sorry. I tried to make the levels as intuitive as possible and put hints where ever I could (I put fences right next to where the girl spawns so hopefully people would notice she just moved through them, for example), but it's hard to convey these ideas without any dialogue or UI! Glad you enjoyed it nonetheless!
Very cool game :) . Unfortunately I got myself stuck the first time as the ghost was able to push the boy through the corner gaps at the bottom of the first screen, but that could mean really cool things for speedrunning. I would love to see more and see what other puzzles you could make!

The way you combined the game concept, controls and level design was great!
Thanks. :D

Awesome creation! really nice art
Great Game!
The art is great. I also like the puzzles. Would love to see the Ghost play a bit more role in combat, though that may be just me. Great game!
We really wanted her to, but we had to cut a lot of scope! T_T
