Strandy's Adventure's itch.io pageTheme
After the theme was announced on the Twitch stream there was a quote regarding Dead Stranding.
We've thought about the term "strand" and came up with ropes, which is what the game was designed around.
We've taken inspiration from the rope mechanics of Worms and Hedgewars and thus Strandy's Adventure was born. :)

I liked the rope mechanic a lot. It is buggy in some cases but congratulations anyway that you managed to execute it (I coudnt probably). Puzzles are also fun and engaging - but it is more about dexterity rather than thinking. Great entry!
ps. did i say anything about art style? it is perfect! - reminds me about "Downwell"
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it! How the rope works was changed a couple times during the jam, and we plan to still work on it some more. Hopefully we can post a perfected after-jam version at some point.
You're spot on, we did take inspiration from Downwell for the art style. :)
I'm planning to completely rework how the rope works, i wanted to do it mid-jam but i was all out of time, once that's done i'll touch some levels based on feedback, clean the code up and add the source (for the sweet extra challenge :P).
Thank you for playing! <3
A fun game with innovative mechanic and adorable aesthetic.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it!
Nice concept!! Pretty tough and a little tough to get the hang of but fun! Love the art style and animations too. Good work!
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it :)
Loved the tutorial and grappling hook mechanic! Cool stuff :)
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it.
I like the cute art and music, and the mechanic was pretty cool! The levels seemed a tad long to me, though, it felt frustrating to die right near the end of one.
Thanks for playing! I know the pain of long levels too, I died a lot while testing :)
In hindsight the last jump of the last level is a bit too naughty, the last part of the 4th level could be a bit easier too.
I intend on completely re-writing the rope code (hopefully within the week), i'll make sure to edit the levels accordingly based on feedback for that update, thank you for playing! :)
Nice controls, though a little frustrating at times trying to get the angle correct to shoot a lone verses moving up/down a line. Music was nice and simple background without being distracting. Only got to around level 5/6 but fun overall. Great job.
Thanks for playing! If you want to try any later levels, know that the level select is in no way locked! (though it doesn't have the tutorial levels, so you probably got to level 2 or 3 out of 6 by the way they are counted there)
