Theme inspiration
So when I heard the theme was PASSAGE.I immediately thought about passing through doors. Because doors are basically PASSAGEs to the other wall.

Unusually charming, it's a neat mechanic and a solid take on the jam's theme. I do agree with an earlier comment, the movement is a bit slow for comfort. Overall a solid entry into the Jam, nice work!

Having a mechanic that serves both for combat and navigation was a very clever idea, and the dialog was funny and entertaining.

The thing that bothered me the most in this game was the lack of feedback when I got hit. Adding an audio effect and some kinda of visuals when the enemy hits you  would have improved a lot the game feel.

One minor issue was the UI for the dialog. In my monitor (1920 x 1080), the text was missaligned with the dialog box, sometimes being completelly out of it.

With that said, great job, very solid entry.

I love your interpretation of the theme.  The concept of creating your own route through the dungeon works really well, and it is unlike anything I've seen before.  The use of the doors for combat was also really creative, and it was surprisingly deep.  The enemy variety also complemented the combat quite well.  However, it would be nice to have a bit more range on the door spawning, as I found it difficult at times to get close to the enemies.  It would also be nice to feel less invincible, like starting with less health and getting pickups or something.  Overall, I really liked the game and had a lot of fun.  Well done!

First of all, very unique mechanic, nice work!
The dialogue was funny as well. I'd say the weak point of the game is the character feels slow and too powerful (too many hearts, maybe?). Other than that, really solid entry, well done! ^_^

Thanks for playing and the constructive feedback

I like the idea of having the door slammed into the enemy

I fought the giant skeleton, but I skipped the other boss. I was finding it hard to tell whether the fireballs were going through open doors in the middle of the room, and just generally awkward to fight the fire breathers, so I just avoided them. Overall it was fun.

What a fun Idea! The mechanic works surprisingly well and is also really fun. What a great example of a dual purpose mechanic! You should be really proud of youself for making this!
