Your game at 01:09:12

A very neat concept, I enjoy the art style, and the interesting premise, the control is unusual but simple enough to figure out. It's overall a nice mini game, I can't really say the game is addictive, it's a bit too easy to put it down, maybe vary the game loop and add more warning sound effects to create more intensity and risk factor to spice things up.

This is a fun mini-game. Everything is fitted well together. The music is a bit too repetitive to my taste.

I don’t have much to add, except maybe that the game page promises more than the game itself can give at its current stage. And this leads to a bitter aftertaste.

Really cool graphics. For the gameplay: The controls feel kind of clumsy. If you miss the correct direction ... you have to wait for a complete cycle to try it again. The balance between dying to asteroids compared to fuel running out was a bit off for me. I always died to asteroids, never was in danger of running out of fuel.

Things you might try out:

- Add health to the ship: Only die on the 3rd asteroid hit

- Add a toggle for the rotation direction of the arrow

Thanks  CrashDumpSoftware. I think it 'll can be add , especially the healt of the ship it sounds a good idea. :)

Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 6! My name's Hythrain, and I'm one of the hosts and streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live on my stream.

This game looks fun. Its graphics are charming and well made, the sound design is light but works. I didn't look at the tutorial, but I quickly got a grasp of what to do which means it's not hard to figure out.

I guess the real question is... beyond a high score, is there any goal for the game? Not that a high score game isn't a fun thing, just that I often like to have a known end point for something.

There's not much I can really comment on, as the game felt like it did a great job building up the difficulty and letting me learn the game. You did good on that aspect. :D

I really like the art! Reminds me a bit of Earthworm Jim.  I'm not sure if the shield can be used more than once? It might be worth having some type of indicator for where an asteroid appears, just to give the player a chance to avoid.

But overall I enjoyed it, and plays well on mobile too.

Nice game! It's pretty fun to play and I really like the graphics.

If I would suggest some improvements, I feel like asteroids could spawn more frequently to make it a bit more challenging. I didn't feel need to use my shield frequently.

Also some kind of warning of asteroids spawning off screen would be nice.

Besides that, I think it's polished, fun to play game. Good job :D

Cute game! Reminds me of the style of those The Behemoth games in a way. Your art style is nice!

Simple game, and easy to understand directions. Nothing to much for me to say here other than great job, and I hope you add some more content to the game like a leader board to compare scores :D

Developer

Yes, of course the ranking needs to be integrated. Thanks so much for the comment! :)
