Started during lockdown in March, but I been thinking about this concept for many years.
Was real fun to collaborate with my daughter. Pretty proud of what we did and probably will keep working on it.

Wow this is really deep and has a lot to think about. Very clever :) Didn't expect something like this from the title! The art style also has a lot of charm to it!
Wow I did not go into this game expecting a strategy/chess-like game, way cool! There is so much here to learn and strategize about, good work! I also enjoyed the very creative and unique art and sound effects.
Interesting nice art style kind
Great job! I liked the artstyle and animations a lot. I think this is a very nice concept! So cool that it's finally become a reality for you having had this idea for a while! It's like a cute fun version of chess haha
you reinvented some kind of chess even though I didnt got it I won! lol Find my video review:

This game is great. The effort you invested in all the different units is amazing! The art and the sound effects are so cute!
Good Job!
Nicely done, I love the drawings and had fun playing around with all the units.
This is a great idea! I was surprised at how many unique effects and mechanics there were, and I like how it feels like it could be a physical game, with units drawn on real paper, placed on a board or sheet. Reminds me of something to play during lunch at school. I did find some of the information hard to read, the numbers and icons are not very prominent when the cards are on the board, and there is no indication which is attack or defense without mousing over the card. Also the self replicating dog seemed OP lol. I cant speak for balance too much because I only played a few games against the CPU, and sometimes it would send its monarch out in the open or let it get blown up by its own guys. It's also really cool that you made the project as a family.
Yeah need to work balance out for sure. And improve the AI. Defiantly plan on working more on it. Jam motivated me to get it into playable shape.
Left to myself I would still be adding in different unit types. My daughter can come up with ideas all day long and I wanna make them all :)
