Let people know how long you've been working on the game
I remember starting making this game in late 2020 but I stopped working on it in early 2021. I figured might as well get it done now.

Fun game with nice graphics. It would be nice if there were a little variation in the shooting sound.
Fun lil shooter! Got sucked it for a bit and really tried to get a higher score each time.
Fun quick game, ran into a small bug playing where after the game over screen I went back to menu and the high score screen did not go away and constant ringing played in the background till I restarted page. Loved the retro graphics and the sound effects fit in well!
Took note of it. Will fix it soon. Thanks for letting me know.
ALSO, thanks for the kind words.
nice game! awesome retro look and feel! :)
i also like the lower part being "dangerous" at times so the available space gets smaller - really cool idea! :)
Thanks for you're appreciation for the "Low-Danger" mechanic!
Interesting shoot shoot 'em up game with a novel way of controlling the ship. Seems like this is intended for mobile, touch to move the ship and shooting is automatic. Kinda wish I could control when the ship fired, but I see what you're going with. Great retro pixel art graphics, sound design and atmosphere.
Might just make that a configuration thing. Thanks for the idea and for the feedback.
Thanks! :)
Nice shooter with great background music.
I have to wonder about the control scheme … dragging the ship (especially on a trackpad) seems less than ideal. Did you think about keyboard controls or just moving the ship with the mouse cursor (I get that you’d then have to add keyboard pause)?
Thanks for the kind words!
To answer your question, the game is originally intended for iPhone, but I still am working on it. I mostly test this game on the computer so I'm used to it, but I do understand the questioning on why to use a trackpad/mouse. I tried using arrow keys for testing before, but I could not find the right speed for the ship and the 8-way movement puts some limits. Plus, dragging the ship away at the last moment from a bullet seems like a better solution.
I also tried just dragging without click-and-holding, but before I couldn't find a scenario where the ship would not jump to a far-off location from the screen (if the mouse was to be off-screen or some other bug). But now, as of writing this, I just got an idea to solve this. Thanks for taking an interest in my little game.
