Great art and animations. Lot of personality and character and feels like a dreamscape. Liking the cozy, warm, relaxing feel. The camera movement every time I tapped left or right was disorienting though. Would have preferred if it was always centered on the character.
The house and lantern were a bit glitchy. I went outside and inside again and the background was outside the house.
I like the artwork in this game. It looks like a world of dreams that has far-reaching imagination. I love floating houses too. If possible, would like to be able to sit or sleep in the house, it would be great. but in thegameplay part I fell after stepping on the ground. Some parts can be reversed. Check for collisions too. And when the players are far from the house, the game slows down.
Everything about this game is beautiful, and It would be awesome to see it further developed and released. good luck!
Thanks! I will let our art duo know!
as for release, we are going to launch it on Steam in (mid?) March. As far as more updates, I guess I'll see how the launch goes.
Huge and gorgeous!
Sorry for the butterflies I spilled!
Thanks for trying it out! Don't worry, you always get another chance.
I noticed that there were some UI elements that were meant for mobile that appeared while playing, as well as some issues with the main menu refreshing. I was also a bit confused when I tried moving to the left as it seemed like an open area I could move to but kept getting reset back to the house.
I did, however, love that you guys made this into a more cozy, narrative platformer rather than the usual hardcore platformers that are released for this genre. Fun take on the genre, there seems to be a lot you could do with this!
Thanks for the feedback.
You can shut off the touch controls in the settings if you'd like, as for the moving left, that's supposed to happen. I guess I haven't found a good way to telegraph to the player to keep moving onwards to the right.
Great job!!!
Really cool art style! :)
I loved the graphics! So pretty. Gameplay was also quite fun and it was great that you had story elements there as well. Sounds that those mushrooms make when they "die" was so cute. I liked the idea that your "base" is following you and that the game was not punishing you if you fell down. That would have been frustrating.
I had some challenges with starting the game. At first pressing the start, somehow I managed to quit the game. Continue worked after that though :D Other minor part that bothered my eyes was if there was multiple of those small spirit creature lights nearby. They were slightly too bright together.
The mushrooms are my favorite. Thanks for your help, these bugs will be fixed in the final version!
