- I'm no sure if the game was finished. There was a grid but the buildings didn't seem to snap on the grid. There was a text at the beginning that stayed for lik a sec, didnt ahve time to read. I just spawmmed a bunch of buildings and it seemed like I had inifinite resource. Then the wave came and the enemies were stuck in a wall, then I built some tower and apparently this allowed to create soldiers, but then the soldiers would just disapear and the enemies would die. Then I gave up. I'd assume it's not finished, maybe the game could be cool in the end, with a lot of polish and a proper tutorial. Cool to see a 3D game in GDevelop !

wooooow amazing!
Thnx :)
Cool concept!
I feel like it could certainly be expanded on after the jam!
Yes I am thinking of updating this game later after the jam by the way thanks for the feedback!
Seems like it might have been a little too ambitious for the time frame? The lack of description on what anything does, how much they cost, and where to place them made the game a bit hard to understand, and while I did eventually sort of get a handle on the way the game worked, once the wave starts you reach an impasse since the soldiers seem invincible. The lack of music or sound effects is also a pretty glaring omission. I think this is all stuff you can work out with more time.
You are absolutely right about all of those things. I could make the game better but because of the lack of time and to manage the game was really hard to me. Maybe I will work on updates for this game in the future who knows ? Anyways thanks for the feedback π
I can see the potential of this game, but there needs to be a tutorial and more descriptions. I had no idea what things did and how much they cost. Also quite a lot of bugs. The visual looks nice so I think if you continue to work on this and fix things there's potential for sure.
I wanted too add a text displaying the cost for each thing but I hadn't much time and I made the description as I could remember. I had to do everything fast because of thee jam and this game had taken so much time π anyway thanks for playing the game and for the compliment π
I'd definitely suggest starting the map with a camera pan for like, an overview. I had no idea the enemy was right across from me! Also, the floor implies this is all built on water? To me at least, lol.
Okay I'll do something about the camera π and no the floor is just a regular hexagon image not water π

Really interesting concept and looking good so far. tho id appriciate if the building was grid system and u fixed the health system as others mentioned, other than that. keep it up!
I really wanted to add the grid system but I couldn't because some people didn't liked that ! But thanks for the feedback !
This is an ambitious project with a lot of potential! I like how things look so far. I managed to place walls and buildings, including towers, but I never managed to recruit soldiers. I too wonder if everything is immortal, if you have the time, you could include a short description on your game page about what works and what doesn't yet, to let players know if there is a way to win or lose the first wave.
You can recruit soldiers by building towers and then pressing the soldier buttons ! An yes I will update and work on this project and add a small detail description for how this game works and also the game has an ending point ! By the way thanks for the feedback!
Very interesting concept! Sadly I was unable to figure out how to really worked, everything seemed to be immortal, and I was unable to place any walls down or anything. I do really like the art style!
Thanks for the feedback! Very strange everything works fine with me as I tested it. The game should be able to let you place walls and stuff and the enemies shouldn't be immortal π€
Are the soldiers on both sides immortal? Or is it just a bug on my side? I currently canβt finish the first wave.
soldiers shouldn't be immortal π€
ooooh I really wished my tiles snapped to the grid. Also, i'm not entirely sure how to recruit soldiers?
To recruit soldiers you would need to add towers, and I also wanted to snap the tiles to grid but they cannot build a proper wall with it. and thanks for the feedback :)
oooh I understand now! It's because the background for the soldiers is red, whereas the buildings are green, so I assumed they were locked behind something I wasn't getting. and because the soldiers spawn in the buildings, I didn't see them because of how my camera was turned.
I'm sorry for that π
