Notes (optional)
Completing this within a week was a challenge, yet it was an enjoyable experience.
It taught me a great deal about how to create and use game assets.
Still trying to figure out how to make the browser version of the game run better.

This looked great! Exploring while on the ship felt super nice. Congrats..

beautifully done, aesthetic is outstanding, great job by doing all of this all by yourself, you really got some strong 3d and godot skills. great job!!

Very nice game with a neat visual style. After the 3rd mission it became quite repetitive. but until then it was really fun to fly around and I love your level design.

I loved the atmosphere and the art, the desire to explore this world is great!!

I like it. A very good game. Felt like I was on vacation

That is great to hear.
I aimed to capture the essence of a relaxing, warm spring day. The return of the sun and warmth after a chilly winter.
As this is how I felt when the jam began.

Visual style is very nice. It is clear that there is a lot of work in this game. Good job!

wow the amount of work that went into this game, it deserves so much more attention than it is getting! it's mindblowing that you did all of this in just one week. The models, animations, world building, gameplay, etc. it's just a fantastic little world to explore backed with a beautiful music. As others have pointed out, a bit more details about upgrades would be helpful. My web version crashed after some time so I played through the desktop version. Overall a really great entry!

Developer

Thanks for the kind words.
It did take long hours and nights to get this done in a week; the project, source code and blend files look accordingly chaotic.

Got a possible fix for the web crash ready, but haven’t gotten a response to the request to update it yet.

Good Graphics, nice movement and smooth animations.

There are upgrades in the game which you can use on your boat so that it floats higher or lower. But first, you have to finish some of the missions on the board. A little info on that would have been helpful (like a little sign above the plattform with the upgrades with the words "Boat Upgrades after Level #3" or whatever :3. Otherwise one might get frustrated trying to reach the lower / higher islands right at the beginning and always getting pushed back by the wind ... (also happened to me)

Other than that: really relaxing game, beautiful scenery and there is a lot to do (like A LOT) and I found no bugs (only fish ;) ) Very good for a one-man crew (+ music man) !

This seems like it would be fun, but there's basically no direction and I'm unable to land on most of the islands. This seems to have potential and it's really cool to roam the skies in the airship but I can't really figure out what I'm doing.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback.
Will see that I add some in-game instructions when I get to updating this.

Basically, when you start out, you can only get to the mid range islands.
After completing the first few missions you will get access to upgrades, which allow you to go higher and lower, as well as a harpoon in the end.
