Okay I loved the atmosphere and the fish cutting mechanic, I REALLY hope you make it complete after the voting, I am looking forward to playing it again with your full vision realized.
GREAT vibes here! Felt almost like SCP meets Cooking Mama. While I wasn't sure how to actually deliver things, I liked the concepts on display. Great work with the cutting tech as well. I found the placement kind of finicky/imprecise, and I didn't get much feedback as to the proper order of things - was I supposed to scan the fish before or after I ground it up? Was there another step after grinding? etc., I'm sure that would have been polished with more time. Love what you have here as it is.
Where are the fish. The theme is 'Fish Fest', so I was looking for some fish.
Only this fishy here is that there are no fish.
Hey- the fish are summoned with the button on the pipe next to the table
The environmental design is nice and really gets that industrial feel across. It seems unusually clean though. Maybe it would be clearer if there were bits of fish scattered around the meat grinder, and bits of meat next to the scan machine for the player to infer their purpose. I also really liked the chopping mechanic. I saw that it was possible to scan fish, but it seems kind of useless because the processed fish can have a different infection status than the whole fish. Probably a good thing though, because it would've been too easy to just chop up an uninfected fish into 6 and then chuck the processed pieces into the tube.
i spent about five minutes picking up and putting down the cleaver in all sorts of places, cranking that machine and booping the elevator but couldn't figure out how to proceed. really cool vibe and visuals though, got me desperate to cleave
thanks for the comment! I wanted to have a better introduction but ran out of time. here's a hint: you can press the button on the pipe next to the table to activate the fish pipe. you can use the cleaver with left click. hope this helps!
This was good! I like the grimy, rusted aesthetic.
It took me a minute to figure out how to play, but once it clicked it became simple enough. An expanded version would definitely be cool.
I liked it. I like the creepy "do your work or else" vibe. There seemed to be no limit as to how far away I could place things a lot of the time. I don't know if that was intentional or not. Also, you should have a punishment for putting bad pieces in the good bin, because I think you can just put them all in the good bin.
But I did enjoy it. I'd play more.
Thanks! Yeah, I wanted there to be multiple days with increasing challenge, and then having a time constraint. Ironically I ran out of time myself!
Thanks for the review :)
Estuvo bueno
