- Nice little game! Obviously the main criticism is there needs to be more "game" to explore the mechanics in greater depth, but the idea you have here is solid and I could see this being a legitimate educational game. Most of the suggestions I would offer are QoL things, such as not making the player have to jump on the box again to get another problem, but these are also things that come with time and you didn't have much of that in this jam. Other than that, good use of assets, character controller is a little janky but perfectly serviceable for the scope of this game. Well done!

It's so short. I like the music.
I know. I had issues with little mechanics so could not build it out further. I work full time and am a college student and mom lol. There WILL be more later on <3 Thank you for checking it out!
I find it really difficult to rate this game because it's so short. There's tons of feedback I could give but I think you're aware of most of it anyways (i. e. the bugged buttons). So instead I'm just gonna say: Congrats on making a game!
it's short if you know the answers or how to do the problems lol :)
Love the concept. Could see this on a school computer as a learning tool.
Well done Desist! Good Proof of concept. A platformer with appropriate math (or other learning) could be a great learning tool!
thank you! i'm excited to expand this out!
The prototype is good but I don't really see the "learn from failur" aspect, I see the "learn", but not the "failure", otherwise the music is good and the game is very cute. For information you can make the close button transparent using the "modulate" property (if you use godot), there is certainly a similar property in other games engines
you learn if you enter the wrong answer, hence the learning from failure :)
i got the windows fixed but too late to update
Cute music and math is always fun. flushing out so more levels would and scaling math problems would be great.
that is definitely the plan!
