This has me enchanted! I'd love to see this to fruition.

I love everything about this! I hope we can play it in the future!

Developer

Thanks so mush I'm glad to hear. Every comment like that brings me closer to being convinced to start making it :D

Really neat UI work - I love how having the focus on both the team, freighter and system in view at the same time really conveys a sense of scale.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah as just a screenshot I wanted to help convey the scale of the game. I created a handful of other windows that I wasn't able to put into a polished screenshot, like the away teams' inventory and a galaxy map. Thanks for checking it out!

Impressive! I quite like the art here!

Developer

Thanks! It's fun to try and squeeze this gameplay into small pixels :D

Thank you so much I'm glad you love it!

This looks great! It seems to combine both my beloved FTL and good old X-com times + more. Love it! Good job

Developer(+1)

Thanks yeah that's actually a good way of describing it. I love FTL so its no surprise the ship combat turned out similar, but I left out the part with targeting ship rooms and boarding parties(at least for now heh heh) for a more simple combat system. Thanks again!

This is awesome! I think you really did well with the UI. Looking at it, I get the sense there’s some really deep strategy aspect to the game where you take in info about the outside world and then make decisions that have clear consequences. The art is cute also - love the pixel style!

Developer

Thanks so much! I definitely spent as much time staring at the screen planning out a proper layout to accommodate all the imaginary features as I did actually making the screenshots. And yeah this would definitely be an in-depth game. Kinda like Mass Effect but completely different controls and gameplay mechanics. Thanks again for the kind words and checking it out :D
