All the pictures are an absolute visual treat with every image being very clear in what is happening. I especially love the use of colours in the window image.
We love the way you've drawn those shadows: they create an eerie contrast with the characters' design and the colors, and perfectly represent the dark, rotten secrets you may find in the game O.O
I really appreciate hearing that! I would want the game to be the kinda game you can finish in maybe around 6-8 hours... but if you want to find all the secrets and uncover the true ending, you're in for a much longer and more challenging experience!
Thank you! I honestly didn't even try to go for a specific look with the art style (just wanted to visualize it in whatever style came easiest to me). In my mind the game would have had a 3D look similar to Death's Door or Tunic maybe, so it's actually been rather encouraging to hear people say that they could imagine the game in a 2D style, looking like the mockups!
Fantastic art style.. that last panel really gives a good sense of what the gameplay would look like. I can easily envision the motion and animations of the characters and light particles.
Thank you! I'm glad I ended up adding that one, then. I originally was planning on just doing the first three, but then figured they didn't convey the gameplay all that clearly yet.
Thank you! I think I just came up with Randy's design in a group drawing session. The design honestly hasn't really changed from that. It's fun when a character almost wills itself into existence like that.
Thank you! I like the idea of being able to create interesting synergies in a simple way - for example, pairing the heavy wrapper (protects against environmental damage, maybe also enemy status effects like poison attacks) with the herb candy (more health), and just going for a highly defensive build.
Thank you! Yeah, I'm just imagining it as a kind of simple customization system. Obviously, some areas might need specific wrappers, but other situations could be more free-form. And there would definitely be room for interesting synergies in specific wrapper/candy combos.

Thank you, much appreciated!
So much character in the drawings, very very well done. I love the perspective in the gameplay screen mockup, brilliant. I would definitely play this!
Thank you! Yeah, I feel like a top-down perspective could really help sell the idea of the small scale of the game's world.
Would love to see this type of game with this type of art. The perspective and angles you choose for framing the action are great and unique.
Thank you!
huh, looks like a decent brawler like game
Thanks! Definitely would want the combat to feel challenging and something you'd need to approach cautiously.

The concept of mixing-matching the candy core and wrapper is so creative! The art is fantastic as well

The art is S tier! Amazing work!

I love the idea of unlocking different wrappers and candy flavors.. also love the look.
