Cool concept for a platform game, and a fun one at that!
The main mechanic, that separates this game from other platform games, is the scaling up the character. By eating mushrooms that can be dropped from either killed monsters or opened chests, your character will get bigger, which will increase your stats like jump power or attack range. It is a pretty interesting and unique idea, and seeing your character getting bigger as well as more powerful, is really satisfying! The movement and fighting controls are okay, they feel responsive, and are easy to understand.
The graphics are really nice. I liked the very detailed backgrounds and foregrounds, alongside the pixelart sprites. Although, the sprite of the main character isn't all that good. In my opinion, it is a bit too simple, and there are some weird artifacts appearing on it (like randomly placed gray/red squares). Also, in the third level, it was slightly difficult to tell platforms and backgrounds apart, since they were visually blending with each other.
All in all, it is a pretty fun to play platform game, with nice graphics, and an innovative idea!
Neat idea, but there wasn’t much reward for getting big. I felt like I should do more damage to enemies when bigger.
Other than that, great job! Everything plays and looks really well.

The only thing i have to say is that it would be cool if you can jump over the small enemies when you are big, after all, killing the small enemies with several sword strikes when you are big is sort of weird and makes the character feel weak even when it is big.

I really liked the way levels transition, and the tileset gets higher res. Great touch.
I agree with the other poster, if the sword did more damage the bigger it is it would feel a little better. Just being able to one hit those enemies you've outgrown right before the end of the level.
Minor nitpick: "You can now double jump!" In the future that might be better if it was like a new different colored mushroom. It just feels slightly better to actually pickup a powerup, than to be granted one at the start of the level, imo. Just a small thing though.

I loved this game! I was really excited about the growing mechanic and it made me feel ever more powerful. I would suggest increasing not just the size but also the power of the attacks as the player grows in size. An original and well put together entry. Very well done!
