Top notch game. Great gameplay and very cool puzzle. My first 5* for Theme. Keep up!!
One of those games only people at Itch.io can like because it is too complicated. BUT there is plenty to like about this game. It is innovative. It has a tutorial. Graphics and audio are excellent etc.
I didn't survived the winter but had a lot of fun
Clever puzzle game and I like the art style and use of the jam theme. Will be nice to see this develop
Agree with others ! this game is reaaaaally an excellent concept !
Hi, I played the game. I like the gameplay and the execution of the game, the idea is also fitting to the season and is pretty creative. I do think that the game needs a bit more balance, because sometimes it's too hard. I also love the art and the sound, the game feels very good and is well polished. I also really love the variety in this creation, different types of obstacles need different types of approaches, which adds strategy to the game, but like I said sometimes it's too hard. All and all this game is well made and very well polished, the only complaint I have is stated above. Well done.
Edit: I've also been getting errors, so please check that out. And I recommend adding a fullscreen mode or making the game's window resolution adjustable, instead of multiplying it.
This is a really smart game and one of my favorite games of the jam. It's really challenging and forces you to think multiple steps ahead. I wish there were also health pickups (maybe a big fly on a more troublesome enemy?). I also feel this would be better suited towards playing with arrow keys, but that's just a preference since I don't want to be bothered with clicking all over the screen. Regardless, excellent work!~
Edit: Never have I been so sad (last day)
Came back and was popping off (survived 2 winters in one game) and second day after this error popped up ;[

This is a known bug that happens when you move too fast with a purple slug in the level, sorry about that! I'm not sure if it's within the rules of the game jam to fix it, so I'm playing it safe and leaving it in.
Very interesting game, it's nice to play and challenging! I like all the animations and style, congrats!
I've played for almost an hour and still the best I've done is "1 day until winter", and I still died before the end of the day. But it's so good that I kept trying for almost an hour!
Audio gets 4/5, mostly because the boiling kettle jumping sound annoyed me, and maybe some background music would have helped. 5/5 in every other category, I'll only nitpick about the UI and say that the buttons should be closer to the frog on the main menu, maybe making some L-shaped lilypads up to them?
Amazing game, hopefully one day I can finish it!
I didn't survive winter.
Really great gameplay! I think some of the levels are nigh-impossible. A snake head occupying the entire border makes things tough!
A really well polished game, and the central mechanic was very interesting. The graphics were perfect, the controls were intuitive, and the gameplay was straightforward, yet deep. The risk / reward of being close to enemies worked well, even though I'm pretty sure snakes don't get fleas! My only gripe with the game is that it was difficult to predict how the enemies would move and when they were going to attack. I think an "I will attack you if you're on an adjacent pad" indicator, or even a subtle movement / attack countdown indicator on each enemy would make the game more strategic. I can definitely see this being a pretty addictive mobile game, and I hope you keep working on it.
Highly polished, and innovative. It was quite hard though, it took me a while to even get to winter, and I still haven't survived once yet!
