Theme interpretation
Moonshot in this instance is interpreted as a music competition in which you take your "shot". This led to a simple rhythm game.

Controls: numbers 1-7 on the keyboard

Nice rhythm game! Good song choices and very satisfying success effect. It was too difficult for me though, a simpler tune or intro mode may help others like me.

Definitely a good foundation for a cool beatmania style game.

Well done!

And here I was thinking I had quick reflexes...It was really fun to try to keep up with it, but just not possible for me. I still had a fun time though! If you work on it some more in the future, a small tutorial will do wonders for players understanding the game. Overall though, nice job! (I just noticed the controls are in the description, boy is my face red or what)

Fun and nicely made game. Love the simplicity.

It wasn't clear to me how to play the keys, so a small tutorial would have been nice. I played Für Elise and did absolutely not get a perfect score xD

Wow! Ambitious making a game this difficult in a genre most people won't be familiar with in a game jam.

My keyboard unfortunately has no number row and without remapping, it's hard to play for real. But with what I could do, it seemed the charts were REALLY left-handed centric? I couldn't find a good position, but I'll keep trying.

It's weird that there's no song ending, and the one song is really, really, really long. But despite that, the fancy effects made me want to keep trying, and the difficulty was just right for me - I couldn't just absolutely destroy it right away. I had to really figure out my hand positions and the type of movements the game wants me to do. (Again, with a little bit of travel on my keyboard, sadly. I'll have to try it on another one.)

Sync seemed good, too, which is usually the first problem in indie rhythm games. So that's awesome. I think most keyboards won't have n-key rollover on the numbers, so some of the chords are probably impossible.

I'm curious what the team's best scores are? :)

Thanks for playing!

We ended up running out of time to add key re-mapping, and the .chart files we used were based off Guitar Hero/Clone hero, so they may have been a little left-hand centric. Some of those chords may be impossible with just the number keys.

I'm also glad the songs weren't so easy for you and that it adds to the re-playablility. The music sync was a challenge, but the most important one for this type of game.

It would've been cool to add a score leaderboard! Thoughts for next time :)

That is sooooo hard! Hopefully you can spam the buttons haha. Also, it took me a while to understand these were the numeric input :)

nice though!

Haha yea, we didn't want to implement a losing condition, so you can keep spamming and finish the song.
