It's an interesting concept, but the game is very frustrating... even on a high quality mouse, scrolling was very slow, so figuring out which direction to scroll was hard. And it seemed like the color got stuck after "random color change" event, making it impossible to change the color until another bug happened.

Thanks for trying the game and taking the time to give your feedback! The change of color is linear, perhaps it would be a better user experience if the further away from the correct color you are the larger the effect of scrolling should be? I think this would make it easier to figure out the scrolling direction. Other than that the game is still full of real bugs. I am not sure if I should rework it or start from scratch with a different framework.

Really cool and relaxing game! Also neat to see that ou did it in python. I didnt know of “repl.it”. To share my pygames I have made them pip installable haha (probably not the best way to go about things)

Interesting idea, really unique :D

A really nice concept and I love the theme interpretation here :) Would be very good to release it as self-contained package or even HTML5 version if possible ;)

I really like the concept of the game, and it's a cool interpretation of the theme!  As annoying as it was that bugs kept showing up, I thought it was cool how how they were designed and integrated. I couldn't beat the second level when bugs start to appear!

I'm on a Mac using a wireless Logitech mouse (which has been annoying with some games in the past), but I felt like I was spamming the mouse wheel or arrows to change the color. The color changes are so minor I think the game would benefit from some other form of feedback to let you know that something is happening.

Lastly, I agree with what others have said about how the game is packaged. While I had zero problems installing this (I have plenty of coding experience) I can see where 1) it might be difficult for some or 2) people may not be comfortable installing a bunch of scripts where they're concerned about security.

Aside from those issues, I had fun, and enjoyed the challenge!

Thanks for the feedback and for trying out the game! This game jam was my first time trying to make a game and I chose the pygame library because it seemed an easy starting point. I now understand that it is not the best technical choice, unless there is another way to distribute a pygame?

Unique and interesting! I would try to release this as an all in one package so people don't have to install from source though.

The game seems simple at first, but after the first level the bugs start to appear which makes the game challenging and more interesting. It is a little hard to install this game though, since not everyone here are programmers :< (I'm not familiar with pygame though so not sure how people usually build their games.) But it is a fun game! I hope it is easier to install so more people can try it out. Good job XD
