Nice Work !

The graphics were so good on this game my browser couldn't handle it, the framerate suffered but I still managed to kill some enemies. Really nice 3D models and lighting.

I liked the models and the level design.

Some feedback:

The shooting feels very strange and you can get stuck on the level very easy.

But beyond that, it's a nice game. Nice work!

The models are pretty cool!

The music is too repetitive and the sound fx is a bit over shrill.

Feels like you ran out of time on some of the basics but there’s some nice bits here, the alien model in particular looks great. Gotta say though that on game start my audio went extremely loud for a moment like there was some kind of audio glitch and i’m so glad I wasn’t on headphones at the time or I may never hear anything ever again!

Player movement is a bit odd and it looks like you had trouble exporting your 3d level (or cutting the roof off of a stock one?). In any case, you’re getting those basic skills down and you’ve finished a game - so good stuff. And it’s a lot better than some games in the jam, so kudos earned :)

Thank you!

Yes, I had a lot of audio problems, I thought I fixed the blaring klaxxon alarm noise before I submitted but its clear I still have that problem. I may see if its possible to update the game after.

I had issues with the mecanim system in unity - the animations were working in blender but I had some export issues with them - and then I had issues with transitions in the state controller.

I couldn’t figure out how to do culling on the level so I just inverted the normals of the level models and I think the roof on one set piece’s angle is weird and I may not have inverted the normals on it or the angle made it face outward.

Thank you for playing!

I’ll make some time to play and rate your game this week on Friday, I appreciate the feedback!

Nice job with your 3d models! Love the lighting and ambience, the music was a bit jarring at first though. One thing that couldve really added to the feel woudlve been to add a walk cycle. Nice job regardless, timed jams make it hard to get alot out! Well done!

Thank you for your feedback!

I thought I fixed the audio issue but I clearly haven’t, once I get a little more time I’ll see if I can fix it and possibly reupload if itch.io will allow me. I’ll make some time this friday to play and rate your game, as its the least I can do for the courtesy you’ve given me.

Thank you so much for the compliment and advice!

I had a walk cycle in the game for not aiming but I couldn’t figure out how to get a humanoid avatar working with the skeleton I made without it becoming distorted in unity to do aiming. But I’m working on another jam and hope to figure that out this time around.
