Ooooo this was cool!!! Really great job! I really enjoyed the graphics and honestly would play the hell out of this game fully polished! Nice music too! It put me in a good mood playing so thats a great job :)

The graphics are really nice. I didn't realize the camera could rotate until I hit the help screen, then I appreciated the models even more :)
Really great tactics game. There is a lot of strategic depth as well that takes a few tries to really appreciate.
I really like the fact that sometimes waiting or running away is the best move in the position, and that wanton aggression will get you killed. I also like the fact that you can sometimes goad the enemy into moving to a vulnerable position. The terrain and the obstacles were also really impactful to the player's choices.
Thematically it was good but I felt the beholder was just a tad bit out of place. Another tiny nitpick is that I would've liked to see more unit types, although given the time constraints that is very understandable.

More unit types / game mechanics were planned but unfortunately had to be dropped due to time constraints.

The river crossing level got me absolutely stumped.

A tip for river crossing: try staying behind the river and defending that position. Always prioritize the flying enemies, try to destroy them before they can use their laser attack.
