This is quite cool, I really liked the 3D environment. I think spacebar or something else should be for roll. I had one bug where the dragon breathed fire and it killed me even though I thought I was outside it's range. But this is a really good submission, great work!

This is a good start for an attempt at a souls-like combat style, but I see some flaws that could be polished to make the game feel better:

  • The health-bar seems to be the boss' bar at first, only when you get close you understand that it's meant to be yours
  • The boss' health is not visible from certain points, and it clips sometimes with your own health, making it difficult to follow the battle, I would make it an UI element for better clarity
  • The Y-Axis of the camera is inverted, I'd add a configuration change it
  • The controls feel somewhat unintuitive, at least to me, I'd give it another thought to the control mappings to make them feel more natural

Keep improving guys, this is a good start in the world of game development! 😄
