Game description
Mystic Cauldron is a magical potion-brewing game where you craft unique potions for NPCs by deciphering their cryptic hints about essences. Combine up to two essences to uncover secret recipes and serve them before time runs out. Earn gold for successful creations and invest in upgrades like faster cauldrons, extra brewing stations, or storage for pre-made potions. With its enchanting atmosphere, engaging mechanics, and a touch of mystery, Mystic Cauldron challenges you to master the art of alchemy and run a thriving magical tavern.

Theme interpretation
The theme of "Secrets" influenced Mystic Cauldron by shaping its core gameplay around deciphering hidden hints and discovering the right potion combinations. Each NPC brings a request shrouded in mystery, requiring players to uncover the "secret recipe" through clever interpretation of their clues.

Fun game, but when I miss click a button it brings my cursor to the middle of the screen, which is annoying. I also liked finding out the different combinations for potions.

Thank you very much for the review. I totally agree with you, the bug is very annoying and will be patch.

I enjoy the concept a lot, distilling requirements down to actual actions. Shows the imprecision of language and you did it so a lot of them were obvious but there was also some 'wtf who would say it like that'. Great balance. The sound and art are all delightful and the music is pleasant. My only complaint is my mouse kept popping back to the center for some reason. Might have been a bug on my side. Really good concept well executed. I would have also liked if it had some advancement in the the game like combining potions or buying new elements/ways of brewing but hat might have made the imprecision of language part really hard to cope with.

Thank you so much for playing my game. English is not my native language, so I struggle a lot to find good sentences. I also wanted the money to me more useful, but I didn't have time. I am making an article about my experience of creating this game.

I know the bug you are talking about but I realize on one of the last days, I tried to solve, but was unsuccessful, sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you for your review.

No no your English is great, the weirdness of the sentences is a feature not a bug. Your English is very poetic and half the fun of the game was figuring out like if storm was metaphorical or meant the lightning. That in my opinion is the coolest feature of the game.

To make it more clear what I was saying the balance between very clear and very confusing and weirdly worded instructions was a really fun balance it meant I couldn't tune out but had to keep focused on trying to solve what was happening. It kept it from becoming a rote puzzle game. If you were to go longer, I'd almost recommend leaning into the  weird phrasing.

Clever use of the theme. It was the right amount of challenging where I was like “oh I know what that is” and I was right but it took a second of thinking. It felt fun to go fast but I really struggled to manage more than one customer at once so I fell back on just doing them one at a time and that felt good.

Thank you very much! At first, I was thinking in doing some game like Overcooked, but I remember playing Paper's Please so I combined the two ideas 😊
