This was a fun and challenging game! I love the moody atmosphere in the swamp backgrounds, rolling fog and accompanying soundtrack. It all melds together for a chill experience.

The atmosphere compliments the difficult challenge too. Perhaps a little too challenging in some levels though. The first levels were a little tricky to start off from. I also think there should've been more thought into the flow of introducing mechanics and the difficulty curve. For instance, after introducing the portal mechanic, the next level doesn't use it? Strange time to introduce it.

However, the core gameplay is fun and addictive, and the controls are tight and response. Like other commenters have said though, increasing the range of tongue could help reduce the frustration. Good job to the dev team!

I really enjoyed this once I got past the first level, which was probably too punishing for a jam. Once all the pennies dropped it was fun and frustrating in equal measure. It was a really well thought out and challenging experience. Kudos to you all.

I quite like the music and atmosphere. The gameplay was sufficiently difficult and it felt good to complete a level. I had fun!

If I had any feedback, it'd be:
- It might've been helpful to know the range of the tongue. it took some trial and error to learn how much range I had. Maybe that's what you were going for.
- Sometimes it was difficult to move my mouse around so fast, like clicking three things within one second. Maybe if there was more grace for aiming it would help.

My favorite thing about this one was the jazzy soundtrack!

I like the unexpected use of the theme (every grapple point i.e. "life" expiring the moment the frog swings away, forcing players to figure out a sequence on the fly (no pun intended).

Took me a while to really figure out how it worked. imo I don't think the player should have to hold the mouse button to stay grappled onto a fly because there seems to be a lot of forward planning that the player needs to take into account based on how the flies are arranged and the potential strain of a finger perpetually held on the left click doesn't help matters. That and the game speed is too fast, meaning that I fall too quickly after jumping in and usually end up rapid-clicking in a panic anyway.

As it stands, holding the left click also seems temperamental in that even if I hold it down after the frog falls into range of a fly, it still snaps off and falls off the screen. I dunno if it's because my frog is carrying too much momentum as they swing, but if I were able to influence how much momentum I can exert while swinging with its tongue on a fly, I could feel more like it was my fault. I didn't get to play that far, but maybe have a spider web background that the flies are stuck on to communicate this more clearly (and that could pave the way for possible hazards later!)

Fun little game. I think expanding the gameplay area or shrinking the visual assets would make it a little easier to players who don’t play a lot of those fast clicking games. That being said, the game plays really well once you get the hang out it!

This was so fun! Lots of neat little bits and difficult without being too punishing. A friend watched me play and said "this truly is the Dark Souls of physics based frog games," haha. Nice work! A fun game and really cool concept.

I don't really get how the game follows the theme, but it is a lot of fun anyway! Nothing more to tell, hope to see it on mobile one day!
