I love the blocky art style, it's simple but it works. The controls were a bit finicky and the camera got me a little nauseous. I did like the timer though which encourage quick gameplay without making it a necessity.
I liked the flat block effects. It hid things fairly well. The music was not too bad, but the camera controls and weird jump physics didn't do the game any justice.
This game has a lot of potential. For a game this complex a tutorial would be incredibly helpful. Also the jumping felt very snappy, like gravity was too strong. For a game where the main obstacle is platforming, getting the controls just right is essential. The camera was a bit of a problem too, but that not the games fault.
Overall, a very intriguing idea. With some more time I fell like this could be a very cool game.
This was a very interesting concept, I liked the aesthetic of the shader and the rotating level game mechanic was awesome. A tutorial for the Q/E abilities would have been helpful, as well as hunting for the orbs to use the abilities but I eventually caught on. The camera seems to shake when the player jumps due to the high gravity and quick movement, which was a bit disorienting. Other than that you have a really intriguing puzzle game!
There a little of playing with the keyboard to learn the controls (unless i missed a tuto section)
Good for those who likes to Parcours thus Owo
Hi there,
you guys are weird - I like you. You managed to make a white sphere look cool and interesting, respect. The entire game is weird in a positive way, but also really REALLY weird :D Definietly a high score for creativity. It certainly looks like a team project that was fun for everyone! Good submission!
Q/E didn't really work for me for some reason and the camera angle when jumping was a tiny bit annoying.
Q/E are abilities that you unlock through finding collectable objects in the environment, so you won't have access to them at the outset.
Ah thanks! Will play again to check it!
