The music is great and the visuals really set the mood. The game idea is pretty unique too. I also really enjoyed the humor in the game but, I couldn't tell if you did or didn't have a problem with cats.

I'm glad you liked it :) About cats, I was just poking fun at them, I like cats :D

I enjoyed the game a lot. I like the upgrades, it gives the player a sense of progression. The background music is really chill and it makes the game much more enjoyable. Nice work!

Thanks for playing and for you comment ^^

I found this game amusing,  and kinda made me think of sims if you're character was a grim reaper! :P
I got to the end of it, but as others have said I was starting to wonder how long that was going to take due to repetition.
Also, I'm not going to lie, I didn't pay attention to the stories. Not intentionally, it was more, there was a bit of  information overload text wise that I subconsciously filtered out what was needed to beat the game and moved onto the next person -> This left "are they good or bad? How many years do I need reserved? And what is their current death to event death?"

I have to appreciate the effort that went in though, especially regarding developing the randomness, I liked having the upgrades and the  UI aesthetic was good!
Good job :)

Hello! I liked your game a lot! It is fun, has good music, the visuals are cool and the mechanic is nice!

But as mentioned, it becomes repetitive... I stopped playing when I wasn't event reading the events or backstories anymore... xD

From a quality of life point of view, if you could add camera rotation and hold click to move, the feel of the walking part would be better.

In my opinion you did an spectacular job!

Keep it up! Cheers!

Thanks for playing :D And thanks for the feedback, those are areas that definitely needed some polish :)

Hilarious idea! Reading those life achievement descriptions makes the game pretty funny :D that's definitely what I like most about this.
The art style is on point: sounds great, looks great!

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you thought that, it was my objective :D Thanks for playing!

I loved this game, the whole idea behind it was genius. Although after 3rd or 4th level, it started to become really repetitive. I think the visuals for sure could need a bit of a polish, but I also like the style, maybe just more animations for the character and the people.

Developer

Thanks for playing :D About being repetitive - I felt the same. But well it was a nice game jam experience.

Amazing concept, some of the text colours are hard to read and would require some polish, but loved the mechanic and the tutorial! good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing :)

Really nice, huge props to you for doing a full tutorial that explained the game, that helped a lot. Maybe some animations would be nice, or some sort of feedback when events happen. Cool mechanic anyway, and I loved the writing.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The visuals are definitely a bit lackluster, so it is a lesson for me to team up next time.

Definitely needs more polish, but a very interesting concept. Being able to move with arrow keys would be nice.

Thanks for playing!
