Liked the aesthetics and handling of controls. Played twice, first time I lost, second time I collected three gems and won? Wasn't too sure if that's the end of the game or not. Never got to use any slowing down, that's why i wasn't sure about winning. Definitely would need some music and sounds and a longer level

I liked the simple platforming aesthetics, and the basic movements were nice and easy to control. I didn't really experience any areas where slowing down the game seemed to be helpful, but it's nice that it's there. I also noticed that the gem collection symbols didn't seem to be part of a normal UI layer, and would be hidden behind the level, and I didn't find the green gem but still got the game completed message.
Hey Dave99,
We downloaded your game (Windows version). Unfortunately, just sharing the executable (.exe) file won't make the game run. We would need the whole folder in which the .exe file was. So, can you zip up that folder & re-upload? Looking forward to playing your game. :)
Hey dave99! The binaries are what you uploaded so we can play your game, the screenshot in my previous comment had the error I experienced. If you didn’t change anything, I guess itch.io sorted itself out!
I just played your game, you did quite a bit of work! 3 levels with different characters and different jumps - quick and easy fun to get into.
As an JRPG fan I’m accustomed to reading, but gamers these days are so impatient I’d be careful about the long introductory text haha. I didn’t get time to add much sound in my game jam entry either, but it makes a big difference, we both got to work on that! Also, when you complete the game, you can’t quit it by pressing “Q”.
Your game dev journey has started early, which is excellent. This game proves that you’re able to learn the technical bits involved. Keep it up and you’ll be great in no time :-)
Hello,
The game doesn't have Windows EXE file.
Can you add support for windows please?
