You've done really well at tying the feel of this game together. The music, style and nature of the game all fit together well.
The gameplay is easy to pick up, and offers enough strategic thinking.
It does feel as if i'm "doomed" to loose :), as there's Never enough torch battery, even with spending the gold i pick up. But it gave it an extra sense of urgency about how the light is used.
And for your first game as well! Really well done! Nice fun game.

Thanks for the comment :)

The game endless, so I had to design it this way. The difficulty curve must increase and the player need to come to an end.  The challange is, to survive as long as you can !

I also left my torch on most of the time but you even added a buying battery power option between levels. Very cool concept and if you do continue with it consider adding a battery % bonus for completing the level. I started a level with no power at all. Excellent work on the sound and art and everything in general.

Nice fun game... I guess I am the only idiot who forgot to turn off their light and burnt through the battery!

Enjoyed it, on brief, good concept and fun to play!

I will rework the tutorial screen to show the controlls :)

Good game!  A brief explanation on how use the flashlight at the beginning wouldn't be amiss.  Good work!

Thanks for the feedback. I added some infos about the controlls in the description :)

Great job! I really like the way you dealt with the coins shimmering or not based on the flashlight hitting them. Great idea! I also really like your Game Over stats screen.

Thanks a lot for the feedback :)

Nice job on a first game jam! It took me a few levels to realize that you could click to turn on the mouse. Idk if I missed reading or what, but that wasn't clear. It felt a little awkward that the sparkles animations would still persist on fake gold shortly after being shined by the light. Idk if this was intentional to stop folks to quickly flashing the light? But it made me be more strategic about my positioning to try to illuminate multiple coins at once, so I guess that's a good thing overall.

This is well executed, clean graphics and gameplay. Very well done!

Thanks a lot :)

I will rework the tutorial screen to show the controlls !

That the sparkle animation still persist for a short time, was not intended. That's how Unity handled it, when you disable the particle effects. But I kinda liked it that way :)

PS: Sorry for the late reply xD
