After watching @Metakstorm's stream, I have rated it. It is a good game!
Thanks for rating it, It is really appreciated :)
Watched the stream as i can't do VR.
Congrats for making this in 2 weeks, look good :).
Thanks, Its my second vr game and I am happy with how it came out. I only started VR development a month ago, its very tricky at first but If you ever get a headset I would recommend giving it a go. :)
This looked like a solid VR game, I was unable to play it directly so instead caught it on @Metalstorm’s stream.
Have rated from what I could see and his feedback.
Great job on making such a good VR game in 2 weeks! Kudos!!!
Thanks for the rating its really appreciated :)
Pretty cool game, I had a few little quirks with the locomotion system and grabbing system but overall everything worked and I like your take on the theme. If you want you can see the livestream I did of it tonight for any feedback I mentioned.
Thanks for playing my game on the stream I really appreciate it, you gave other people a opportunity to see what I did without a VR headset. I could not get many people to test it due to the current regulations in my country so I am happy to get an in depth review of what to fix.
Glad to hear, I need to learn more on making VR games. Only done one so far and it took me so long to get the basics up and running.
I'm rating yours based on the video stream from MetalStorm as i cant play VR unfortunately. i like the level design. It does deliver the castle feel and atmosphere. I like the animations and the respawning of the dropped items. Well done.
Thanks for the rating, I had so many fails during testing of the dropping a thing and not finding it
Watched MetalStorm's stream to rate.
Seems good but I have no point of reference.
Thanks for giving it a rating :) I think the next time I do a game like this for a jam I made put in a vr and keyboard mode.
Yeh good call, its hard to get ratings otherwise.
I really enjoyed watching Metal play it though.
hello i need your help please help me. i make a VR game i want someone to record its gameplay because i want to submit it to admin of step up and i dont have VR
I am greek, so a greek mithology was a very intresting theme for me. Unfortunately I was not able to play it. Game snapshot looks great though.
It's Cool, MetalStorm did a stream of it and the other Game Jam games if you want to have a look at it there. I was given a bag of chocolate coins and I remembered how Midas could not eat gold so I made a game around it.
Used my brother's VR set just for it. Very cool game, just need more content outside of the game jam. GJ :)
Thanks for playing it :)
I wont be able to play it either.
But it makes me want to buy some vr device, and even start making a game with it.
That's something that will be huge, and it's growing everyday
Thats cool ( gives thumbs up) if your interested in making vr games I would say give it a go at some point.
The device I used when making the game was a quest 2 which is the more affordable the only downside is if you want to play pc games through it you will still need a decent computer but my computer was mid range and ran well with Unity. Also one technical issue which has to do with the lenses is that targets far away are difficult to see this was only a issue with Borderlands 2 VR and some levels in Payday 2 VR.
Its not that different to making other 3D games in Unity and there various ways to implement VR into a project.
Great job on the overall style and especially getting the avatar hands in! The sorting is fun (but I did manage to get the test tube stuck in the table on accident). The lighting is great and the room is well laid out for travel which works well with both methods of travel.
Incredible work!
Thanks for the feed back I am actually really happy to hear that both methods of travel are working well that part of making the game allways became a bug fest when I added something new.
I might have to consider removing that test tube as one of my buddies told me the same thing I used a script to teleport objects back to their starting position when they fall on the floor but I think their rotation is still the same when they go back to the table so I might make the test tube return to the table at a higher point.
i want to help will you help me please its important
I would really love to play your game, but can I play without VR?
Sorry you can't play it without VR sadly. I sort of built the game around the mechanics VR controllers provide.
