Fun game. I definitely struggled with the controls, but that is all on me. The top down was great, and being surprised by the enemy was entirely my dumb luck. Great job!

Great to see a game using stealth mechanics. Definitely the only one I have played since Splinter cell :D It's a fun game ! I was glad to succeed on my first attempt in Hard mode!

I love stealth games, and yours doesn't disappoint! I'm saving this one to replay in the future. It looks absolutely stunning, you picked your assets well, and the bush stealth mechanic is genius. Also, I love that you implemented difficulty levels and graphic qualities. I actually lagged a lot on high quality, so it was nice to have to option to lower it down to something I could work with.

I had one issue alone. The camera was waaaay too sensitive, to the point I didn't even know I twitched my mouse, that I found myself facing backwards, and towards the ground/sky, confused as to why I was getting no closer to my destination. It was funny in a way, until it became a little irritating.

Anyway, all in all, it's still an awesome game!

Thank you so much for the review and for playing!!

a good entry, I found myself wanting a peek action so i could peer around the item I was hiding behind similar to Gears of War. I like the hiding in the bushes collectable, it suited the style of the game well.

Developer

Ah, great idea! Thanks a ton for playing and for the feedback :D Cheers!

Nice job! The main menu is spectacular, and the level is very well designed. The character could be a bit faster, but I understand very well that in the end character and level have to fit together :D.

One little thing I noticed is that when you die while hiding in a bush, the bush is till attached to you when you respawn. Also bushes didn't seem to respawn for me.

Very nice and flavorful entry!

Thanks a ton for playing and for the feedback :D I really appreciate it a ton! The bushes only spawn at game start, but I suppose that doesn't actually make sense! :D I should have the bushes' positions locked in at game start and they should respawn after each "caught". That is a great point! Thanks again!!

I love stealth games such as Thief, hitman (I suppose) and the payday series, however, this take on the game was one of the most fun times I have had playing a stealth game. The way you can blend in with the bushes, loved it, I love the game, it was VERY well made!

Developer

Thank you so much! I really appreciate hearing that a lot!! Cheers :D

Definitely on theme since you need some deaths to escape.

I kinda cheated the normal difficulty - I died at the end but still managed to finish the level ;)

Got lucky on nightmare though - sprinting on the left side and got it at 1 attempt!

For me the gamepace is quite slow - but it's a sneak game after all.

An indication that the guard is aggroed onto you - or going to would be nice; such as an exlamation point visual.

I especially liked the menus and sounds as well - great job!

Nice job creating a game and submitting!

Developer

Thanks a ton for taking the time to play and for the feedback! Those are really great suggestions. An exclamation point would have been a great touch, good point. And nice job on nightmare mode!!!! That's really tough to do! Thanks again! Cheers!

Bro i am getting this error when i was trying to play your game.

Developer (1 edit)

Oh no!! I'm sorry to hear that :( I had an issue with another unreal project at first and had to re-download and re extract it. It was a different issue than the one you're showing though: I am wondering if my game is.... not optimized or something :P I'm sorry for the error :( Thanks a ton for trying though!

and rated the game based on video.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it a lot! Your game was really stellar by the way, I just checked it out. I love the minimap, I need to learn how to implement those!

Hey there, fellow lone wolf!

Nice stealth game, trying to get a zombie out in the open to start our own zombie apocalypse :) I glanced at each difficulty level, played on easy, and finished the game in my 2nd attempt on easy.

Now, I see some issues within the game. The character is really, really slow (even for a recent undead). The camera system is very bad: It is placed far too low, and far too frequently, we either have something huge between us and the character, or the camera zooms in far too much into your character; both resulting in we losing sight of our surroundings.

The core of the problem is that your map is far too tight for a 3rd person game. I suggest, if you intend to keep it as a 3rd person game, that at least scaling the map 4-5 times bigger than it currently is, and adding some spacing between all those environmental clutter, so the camera won't snag on things as often. It will also enable the character to move a little bit faster, thus giving the game a better pace.

In addition to the above, you can also move your camera above a bit, and have it point ahead of the character, instead of on its head; so we can get a better view of our surroundings.

So, congratulations on your game submission & keep them coming! Cheers!

Thanks so much for taking the time to play! I agree; the game could use more/bigger maps, a faster character, and a better camera.  I kept my scope as small as possible because I did not want to have anything left unfinished. I won't be doing any more work on this project but really appreciate the feedback! Thanks again for playing, I'm stoked to hear that you were able to finish :D Cheers!

This was FUN, who knew you could use a bush to hide, found out on my third try.  After that, it was easier. those guards really had it against me. :D Great game!

Thank you so much!!! :D

The detail on the environment is wonderful. It's a very large download, but it's worth it :) I wish the character moved just a smidge faster. Solid entry though. Thanks for posting!
