Loved the art and the idea! Couldn't finish cause I guess i made a little soft lock, but i'm gonna play again, like, right now lol
Just one feedback really, the dialogue box is in a place on the screen that does not get attention, we don't usually look at that corner so it took me a few minutes to realize and them could play the game. I would suggest to put it on the left corner and make it so we can minimize it, or something like that!
Cool art and I like the puzzle aspect! Great submission! I’ve rated your game. I hope that you’ll check out and rate my submission as well. :-)
Nice puzzle game. Yes falling keys bugs I found as well. Congrats
There's a lot of potential in this game! Such a nice puzzle game! Unfortunately, I found some bugs with falling keys! Put some effort in this one and I can totally see it becoming a full fledged game! Maybe mobile with some other controls! Congrats for the game!!!
Nice game, like the Fire boy & Water girl games, but with dialogue (or... monologue, technically?) and a backstory.
Now the game itself needs some improvements overall. As been said before, the dialogue box is easy to miss, I completely missed it out on my first go as well. I'd also say clicking through it isn't the most elegant solution... The visual art looks very cool. But the music is really repetitive.
However, the major problem is that the game feels awkward to control, and has some irregularities and inconsistencies. For example, the ghost can fly through walls normally, but for some reason (which I guess is to have us move towards our zombie?) it can't pass through that wall directly ahead at the start of the game? And the fact that we've been told in the text to interact with the key, but we get to simply push it with the ghost instead, without even touching the use button..? Speaking of buttons, the jump button, when held down, keeps bouncing the zombie character! (Boing boing!)
I'll maybe give this one another go later. Cheers!
I really like the art, cool game idea
Really pretty game! An interesting story that goes very well with the game. The physics and collisions could be improved, but the puzzles were fun to interact with! Nice job :-D
Great game! really enjoyed it \o/ great story too!
Nice one! I really suck at puzzles but still enjoyed ;)
Cool game. The story was a bit long for a game jam I thought. You've got good consistent aesthetics.
Great art! I liked it.
Nice concept and cool artwork I like the spider
I liked the idea of having a zombie and their own ghost working together to solve puzzles. That was kind of fun. I also liked the sprites and the animations.
There are some improvement opportunities I'd like to point out:
- I didn't notice the dialogue box until I had tried to solve the puzzles on the first room at least a couple of times. I could move both characters right from the start, before any of the text had been read. It would be better to have the dialogue on a more prominent location or make it stand out more and require that it's finished before letting the player move around (at least in the first screen).
- I'm pretty sure I skipped part of the story by moving to the next screen before finishing the text.
- When switching character without letting go of the movement key, the previous character will keep moving in the last direction instead of stopping.
- The music loop is VERY repetitive.
Good job!
I liked it!, specially the little story being told through the dialogues. Puzzles are basic but fun :)
Fun idea, a few little bugs (like someone mentioned keys falling off the screen), but for a jam game, great effort!
I got to the end, yay! Good stuff, although the music was a little repetitive.
Great work! I wish there were directions within the game, that would make it more intuitive but I know it's the last thing on everyone's mind with a 10 day deadline
Cool game!
I think I kinda threw one key out the boundaries of the level.
Good mechanics, good artstyle, it were fun to play, the music start to get boring after a while but it's a cool game.
Great submission, fun puzzle system and great mechanics. Well done!
cool game, took me a second to realize what was going.
