Nice game. I had fun playing the beginning. I got frustrated about the beginning of level respawn, it would have been great if respawns were on the last solved puzzle. When I missed the plank after the fans I stopped, since I did not want to run through the level again.
On my first run, I got into a fail state with the ball. If you hit it after it was shot off the initial position it falls off the ramp, and you cannot really solve the wall anymore.
I still enjoyed the game. Thanks for making it.
Thanks for playing!
great mechanics! i like it, nice job!
Thank you!
Fun game.
I agree with the other comment about lack of textures, but I understand the time constates, I also didn't game my game to where I wanted it
Yep, the biggest takeaway for me this jam was to find and use actual art assets from the start rather than prototype meshes with the intent of replacing them later. :)
Thanks for playing!
I escaped from limbo :) I liked the physics interaction with the ball and the fans pushing you up. Some textures would be nice. Good start!
Ha, yeah in hindsight I should have just started out with actual art pieces instead of prototype geo that I thought I'd have time to replace.
Thanks for playing!
Fun platfromer!
The fireball hits a little bit to the right of screen center, which to me was a little annoying, but I still had a few minutes of good fun!
I debated on whether to adjust the initial trajectory to some line-traced point projected by the camera, but it felt fine to me as-is. I also didn't add a crosshair for the same reason.
Thanks for playing!
Enjoy your game it was quite nice :D
I think you would profit from a small
HUD to make aiming easier
and a landing sound to give feedback to the player it feels a lot like floating this way(footsteps would even be nicer ;) )
Not including a crosshair was intentional as it adds to the challenge. :)
I agree about the footsteps - in fact I spent a disproportionate amount of time trying to fix a bug in the free footsteps BP that was available on the MP. I found out that it was actually a bug in UE5 code that was preventing the BP from working correctly, not the BP itself. Definitely would have liked to add more sound effects in general but ran out of time. :)
Thanks for playing!
Love the ball. Great little puzzler, the fireball surprised me.
Thanks!
Great game, easy to figure out and get the hang of. Loved the atmosphere. Great job!
Thank you!
Fun platformer, although I'm not a fan of first person games xD nice job!
Thanks for playing!
Fun little platformer, but I didn't get much connection to the theme, apart from it is being set in limbo - clearly after you've died?
Or was there something I've missed?
Nope you got it. Thanks for playing!
Thanks for submitting!
(P.S. That is my favorite ship as well ;) )
