Nicely done!

I'm sorry I didn't get in time to give it a rating, but I had fun with it :D.

I noticed that the water changes material midway at times, not sure why that is. It makes all of the water brighter at once, then after a bit darker, and so on. It's a bit distracting until you realize what's going on.

Some music, and especially, some sound effects, like footsteps, landing, and a jump chime (ala Mario) would give it a lot of "life".

Cheers, and congrats for the release!

Developer(+1)

Haha no problem, glad you gave it a go and gave me some constructive feedback though.

I really don't know what was causing the weird water effect, I've changed the material and it seems a lot better for the new build, also I've added sound FX and some background music.

Cheers for the feedback

A runner!  And collecting brains!  It is an original idea.  Good work!!

Please, add some music and you will have a complete game!

Congratulations!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and giving it a go.

Yeah I will definitely add some music on the next update

This was a fun, well made game! I like the brain chomping sound!

Developer

Haha thanks for playing

First of all - I really like the visuals. I know its assets but anyway - good selection, good lighting.

The mechanic is also fun - I like how "inertially" jump is made. The game itself simple but fun.

Well done!:)

Developer

Thanks very much for the kind comment, and of course playing my game ;0)

Simple mechanics and they work well, well done.

When the speed starts to climb, it becomes sort of hard to follow for me - I think the pacing is perfectly fine, maybe the motion blur doesn't agree with my... brain?

Developer

Yeah I've had quite a few comments about the motion blur, it will be fixed in the update I'll release after voting.

Thanks very much for the feed back and giving it a go ;0)

Gameplay was good and the mechanics worked well. Background music would be a great addition.

Congrats on a working game with a nice pace

Developer

Yeah I just ran out of tie before I got to find some background music, I'll add it in a future update.

Thanks for trying it out and leaving a constructive comment

Cool game! The visuals and controls made for a great overall game and a very solid experience.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words and trying out my game

I really like both the models and the pacing of this game, I want a second level though, where you get to run around the Arc de Triumph jumping on cars :)

Oh and please add some music and a background story next time.

Great job!

Developer(+1)

Haha that would be an amazing second level, I'll see what I can do for a later update.

Thanks for the feedback and giving it a try

Submitted

Nice concept! Controls are good, collecting brains is also really interesting. Sometimes it's hard to see the holes in the ground. Thanks for the experience!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback, I've fix the motion blur for an upcoming update which should also fix the issue of seeing the holes

i'm pretty sure it's a story about a zombie that slowly looses it's eyesight and tries to run away from it. at least that's how I felt when playing it ;-)

jokes aside, great visuals, and a very funny character. 500 mb does seem a bit obsessive for that type of game though...

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and giving it a go.

Yeah I totally agree, I've made an update fixing the motion blue issue, added some background music and reduced file size down to about 300mb.  In the sprite of the jam I'm waiting until voting ends to upload as I defiantly ran out of time to implement those in the first 10 days.

Very fun. I found it to run very smooth for myself, though the blurr effect on the platform made me feel a bit sick if I took my focus off  the zombie. The character is cool. I liked the noise from collecting the brains. I noticed the platforms seemed to procedurally generate, this correct?

Developer(+1)

Procedurally generated! Mate I wish I could have done that haha.

I just made 4 or 5 sections and it randomly chooses which one to use.

Thanks for giving it a go and sorry about making you feel sick ;0)

Submitted

That’s cool. I like the idea of the randomized map. I think you’re practically to the idea of it though! With a bit of level streaming. I think you could make it happen! But it was fun all the same! No worries. I just made sure not to lose sight of my guy haha

Game looks awesome but my pc couldn't run it nice. Probably just my system, Ue5 doesnt agree with my pc hahaha

Developer(+1)

Ohh no, UE5 is so much nicer then UE4 once you get used to it.

Cheers for trying though

Chomp brains!

Developer

Thanks for playing

Submitted

Good job! I didn't notice the pitfalls at first, on my 2nd run I managed to go further, like 37 brains I think, before I got distracted and fell xD I like the sound when eating brains, maybe you could add some music as well. Nice game, congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thanks very much for giving it a go and leaving feedback.

Yeah it definitely needs some music, it'll be in the update after voting has finished

Submitted

Nice game! A little hard to spot the pitfalls, but still fun to run! ;)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to make them a bit more obvious in the upcoming update.

Cheers for playing

Submitted

Nice game! I managed to collect 26 brains.

I just had 2 issues. First the motion blur didn't feel good. Second the pitfalls were hard to spot.

Developer

Thanks for giving it a go

I've made an update fixing the motion blue (which also makes the gaps easier to see) and a few other bugs, but will wait until the voting has finished to upload it

Cheers for the helpful feedback, always appreciated ;0)

Nice game for being your first jam! Next time try to team up, believe me, it would be much more fun ^^

Developer(+1)

Definitely, let me know when you sign up for another jam.

 Cheers for trying it out

Submitted

Sure thing! Next time it's going to be a VR project though, so if you're interested DM on twitter at @Yeray_CS ! :D

Submitted

First off, this was a HUGE download size for the type of game that it is. Second, the performance wasn't very good. With that said, I can see this being polished into a fun endless runner game that you could play in 5-10 minute sessions at a time. Congrats on submitting, keep improving this.

Developer

I know right, 500mb is huge for what this is, I'm sure there are better ways to package it but I'm still very early on into learning game dev.

Thanks very much for the comment and trying it out

good game, Great Job!!!
