I kept getting the game looking like this:
It was tiny when it launched so I made it bigger so I could see the screen. It looked like the above screenshot. I restarted the game and tried using full screen from options and it looked the same. I killed the game and at some point I got a windows pop up saying it said it was going to launch it in compatibility mode next time. Then when it ran it again, it was a decent size window and I didn't have to resize it to read it and everything looked normal. I'm running windows 11 pro, so maybe it works fine on other versions? The story was short but enjoyable.
Thank you for playing the game and I appreciate the feedback. I'm really sorry for the issues with the text, unfortunately I'm not too sure what causes the text to not display correctly, but is most likely a windows compatibility issue since the game maker I used was a bit outdated
I figured I would comment about it just in case anyone else ran into a similar issue. Compatibility mode seemed to fix it, but I didn't change the options, windows did it on its own.
Good story in an interesting game.
Congratulations!
This gives strong Emily Is Away vibes. I love this style of storytelling, and your story seemed to be taking a cool direction. However it's too short even for the jam, it barely felt like an introduction for me. Some of the text on the right side goes beyond the screen occasionally, and the UI can do with some polishing!
Thank you for playing! Unfortunately I wanted it to be longer but I simply ran out of time. Not too sure what has happened with the text as it all looked fine during test plays but I appreciate all the feedback
The game looks nice. Some music when everything seem normal would be great. A good short horror game.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

I really liked the last line the bot said.
