I like this game, cool concept with good levels, well done

The death effect is creative, the fact that the cat has colours is very cool and you could have made it more impactful, for example have the cat leave a coloured trail on movement or colour the ground it touches

But I have some complains

  • The movement is slippery and you fall like a truck
  • Some jumps require a pixel perfect distance and jump timing
  • The animation is looping backwards? not sure but there is something wrong with the movement animation loop
  • pushing the boxes is a bit annoying because it depends on the cat velocity, I dunno how you can fix it but make it’s pushing speed constant

I highly recommend you to fix them after the jam

Really enjoyed this cute little game, cant wait to show it to my girlfriend who loves cats, great job!.  If you want to watch a playthrough, I posted one on youtube, timestamp 42:26 https://www.youtube.com/@constantanxiety7182/videos

Liked this game. I think it's always interesting how the music really sets the tone of a platformer. So, it feels like it's a totally chill -- which it kind of is -- it's nice music to go with the B&W ambiance.

I didn't mind the platforming as much as some folks apparently - I thought it worked pretty well.

There were sometimes of blindly jumping... to one's death, which was sometimes annoying because it meant starting from the beginning of the leve.

I really liked the story of getting all the color plugged in -- I want know more about how this videogame arrangement came to be.

Okay so I will give my early thoughts; the basic idea & story is really original and cool. The platforming is a tiny bit scuffed, especially that if you die you go back to the original dialog, and with no way of skipping it, and you can easily set yourself up for not being able to solve the level with no quick restart or checkpoint etc

I love the art and how everything is put together. Had to give a couple of tries in some areas, really fun game.

Such cool art. Classic platformer experience, but actually challenging and well thought. Story and theme is very original.

The graphics are lovely, and the music is phenomenal! I wasn't a big fan of the momentum based movement at first but I honestly came to really enjoy it once I got the hang of it, though I'm not sure I'm a fan of how your momentum gets stopped when you land from a jump or fall. The moving platforms are a bit slow but otherwise I had a genuinely good time playing your game! :)
