Used a viking helmet from magica voxel default models but I modified it beyond recognition.

Cool game! It was interesting that the movement is simpler than the survivor-like games where you don't have to press any keys or click to move, yet still be able to make a fun game. Your devlog was also insightful, it was fun to read about your experiences with Chat GPT.

Well done!

Nice job! Liked the overall concept only thing i could point a finger at is that the dudes follow my cursor when i go buy upgrades. Other than that i really enjoyed playing.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing my game and for the tip. This bothered everyone sorry about that. Will be adding key shortcuts in the next update in sha' Allah.

Cool game! I like how your squad automatically gets into a formation around your cursor. It would nice if we could buy lamps, guns, etc. with keyboard shortcuts (1, 2, 3, 4) so we don't have to move our mouse down to the buttons causing our soldiers to move. I had fun with it and played till the end, good job!

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words and for playing till the end :) I will be sure to add your suggestion in the next update.

The movement of the squad and placement of items took a little adjusting to, but didn't take long.  Liked the concept and enjoyed playing!

There is much more tweaking and polishing that I needed to do but no time :) I will be thinking of ways to make it smoother in the next updates. Thank you for the encouragement and for playing.

Maybe implement click to move. For strategic purposes players might not want their soldiers following every mouse move. Over all, Nice game. Well done.

Thank you for playing and for your tip. I will think about it but I feel like this is much easier for their movement and also faster when they are being attacked and need to move quickly or being insistently followed. I think adding the keyboard shortcuts for buying items might solve the player needing to move the mouse for something else, other than movement. This way I can have the good of both worlds.

That sounds like a perfect solution. :)

Nice Job!  The screen movement was a little bit disorienting as the camera was following the mouse nonstop, but a neat concept overall :)

Developer

Thank you for the comment and for playing my game. Actually, the camera is following the squad's movement which is an intended feature. The idea was that the squad could move freely and would be able to explore the map more and light up other places so I had to make the camera follow :)

The game is interesting, but it needs at least a brief instructions page.

If you can try to find some time during development to make or shop for music and sounds, they're essential to build the atmosphere of the game

Developer

Thank you. I intended to add instructions but I started the jam very late (around day 6) so the time was crazy tight.  I will add the instructions and fix the many bugs hopefully before many more play the game :D
