  • Relaxing puzzle game with cute pixel art! The music fits the setting. Well done!
  • Wowww I love this! Super cute, great mechanics - very excited to see where this goes once the time travel is ironed out and incorporated into some levels!
  • Fun original puzzle game, great mechanics!
  • The audio track gets way too repetitive. Otherwise, pretty nice game. I had to use the unlocked jam version, though, I got stuck in 2 levels!

I really enjoyed this charming game, even though completing couple of levels were out of my reach. This  game reminds me of the simple but great Lolo games on NES. If you plan on continuing this and developing it on par with Lolo and similar classics, I'd really like to do some relaxing music for it.

Really cute puzzle game!

Pixel arts fit so well each other.

And I love how you make use of the tongue in different situations.

There’s one minor nitpick.

In the last level, the first move you do is go down.

But if I do that, I can’t see the top-most rock even if I go up higher.

This results in blind tongue jump, if you haven’t seen the rock before.

The same thing applies for the bottom-most rock too.

I wish the camera just moved with the toad.

Oh, and I found that sometimes the box doesn’t undo by pressing L, when messing around the earlier levels.

Is it intended, or is it a bug?

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah the box not moving back in time properly was a hotfix I did to address a separate issue so I could finish my submission in time. It should work properly in the next version I release.

I also adjusted the camera to have larger padding on all sides so the max length the tongue can reach will always be on screen, but I can experiment with adding an option to lock the camera too!

Cute puzzler, nicely put together.

I got stuck on the third level for a while, because the block was dropping in on the top side of the chasm, so I didn't know what to do with it... However, after I got it figured out, I can't seem to replicate it, so I'm not sure if it was a bug, or if I just was doing something different and didn't realise.

The trick to that level is that there are two different ways to pull blocks - walking backwards with the block attached to your tongue will only move it one tile, but pressing A to retract your tongue will yank it all the way to the player before dropping it!

Ah, that explains it! Thanks

Oh at one point I got glitchy sound, I think in the pause menu, but it went away when I restarted the level.

Interesting, I've never encountered that before. I'll keep an eye out and try to fix it if possible!

This was fun! 🐸 Good challenge, and cute aesthetics. I'd play more levels if you made them.
