Doesn't feel like a gameboy-game to me, but I enjoyed my playthrough. The way the character gets realistically crushed, chopped or chainsawed is really cool. The snappy restart, like in Hotline-Miami, takes out all the frustration that could've build up otherwise.

Cool game.

I really enjoy the simplicity of this.  The fail animations are really satisfying. :)  Great design!

I like how snappy the restart time is, reminds me of super meat boy. Cool game!

The game is fun, but doesn't feel like a Gameboy game. But I like the game

This was really fun, I'm so impressed you made such a fun 1D game.

Was very skeptical about how a one-dimensional game would work, but I loved this. A great use of simple mechanics, and it's really fun to see what happens to your character when you fail (is that a weird thing to say?)

This is a really fun! I want more!

Do you have plans to take this idea farther? I like the super simple aesthetic and am curious to see where it would go. The cut and splatter effects are very cool.

Haha! It is actually a "remake" of a similar game I've made for a LD jam about 10 years ago. Unfortunately it's hard to play it today as it was made in Flash so actually this entry was an attempt to revive it. There was a lot to explore in this concept so maybe some day I'll continue working on it :)
