Fun little game! It was very charming, I liked a lot of the polish like the title screen transitioning into the game. I noticed a bug where grabbing the rocket in midair prevents it from working, you can only regular jump and can’t use the booster. I also felt the lag but it didn’t end up being hard to manage for me. Other than that, great work, I enjoyed it!
Ain't gonna lie, this game plays way better on the DMG than on PC. Truly amazed at how you got all the collisions to work this well on moving actors.
Oh, nice! I need to get set up so I can test it on a DMG. That's cool to see!
The interactive title screen is so cute!
It took me a while to realize I had to go through the roof tho, thought I had to find a way to go out the door...
We need more interactive title screen to try out the controls!
Awesome little game, nicely polished, feels very GameBoy. Congrats!
full of cute ideas :)
I really like how the intro game just seamlessly transitioned into the main one, really cool ngl. Music was also nice. (Me like pulse channels lol)
Only thing I could complain is that I would prefer a hold to boost upwards rather than tap crazy lol. Oh and the lag oh dear, something must have been legit killing the memory of the gameboy somehow because near the end the lag started to set in, bad.
Still, was a nice game all around :)

Great feedback. Thanks for playing!
This was very cute. I especially liked the way the beginning and end of the game integrate with the main game itself--it's rather seamless.
Nice graphics and music. The level design was well done, also.
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.
All around solid game! I loved the little character sprites and especially the artwork on the end screen. My only suggestion would be perhaps to make the jetpack either a single button press/hold, or to be based on charges rather than time
Good feedback. Thanks!
I really liked this! The story of the kid wanting to go to space was charming and cute. The art was great and very well suited to the tone. I liked how the background evolved as you got closer to space. Having the cookies spread out in the level off of the main path was a good idea, as it encouraged me to explore more to find them all. The lag issue is unfortunate, but by the time it was starting to become an issue, I was so charmed by the game that I was going to preserve through it to get to the end. Bonus points for making the title screen climbable! It's a minor thing, but I love little easter eggs like that. Great work!
Thanks for your feedback!
What a charming game! The control was quite intuitive and engaging. It was a bit laggy, but I didn't run into any bugs. The graphics are great; I especially like how distinguishable all of the cloud types are.
Great work!
Thanks for playing, Clark!
Awesome game that was really fun! Loved the art and music, I really liked the start and discovering I had to jump on the bird. The wall jumping/cloud jumping part started feeling frustrating rather than challenging but I felt great when I made it to the end :) I'm still not sure what the little rockets that I picked up do though, maybe I missed something. Overall great game!
You aren't the only one confused with the rockets at first. They give you a few seconds of upward boosts if you continuously push "b". This was tricky for my kids to figure out on the first run too so I put a little help arrow graphic by the first one, but it's easy to miss. Thanks for playing Cassidy!
Really nice game. I like the concept and it was a lot of fun in the beginning, then somehow movement changed a bit, it felt really sluggish - not sure what happened there. Otherwise it's a neat little game :)
I was fighting lag issues the whole time building it in GB Studio. I need to find some better instruction to improve performance. Thanks for playing!
Sweet game. I managed to get to the end. Nice job on the art too, the setup at the beginning was very nice, the lighting and shadows caught my eye.
Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Really fun game, I fell a lot ahah !
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed this game! It was pretty laggy at some parts and the game got a bit finicky when it did but it was a good experience overall.
Thanks for playing! Yes, I was fighting issues with lag the whole time building it. Hopefully I can find some tips eventually for more efficient scripts.
Super cute. I really liked your sprites.
When I got up to the vertical gap in the clouds with the diagonal lines, I couldn't figure out how to navigate it without just falling back down. I assume this was just me being dense and bad at playing games. :\
Thanks for playing, Bill! That part uses a wall jumping mechanic. It is a little tricky and could probably be fine tuned a bit better.
Nice little game, pretty minimalistic in a good way. Had a few "Only Up" and "Getting Over It" vibes when I felt down 50 clouds below me, but it was fun!
Awesome game, simple amd fun I ran through it 2 times, where is the 4th cookie?? Haha.
Good job
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! You probably missed the first cookie to the left above the bird. No snack time for you. :P
I liked your game it was fun
Thanks for playing!
