What a fun game that became even more entertaining when I realized that I could wall jump! I only fought the first boss, but it was fun and actually more challenging than I expected. The enemies are a little too fast but it was still a super fun experience! Seems like it would make for an interesting speedrun

That was fun! The art is quite cute, and the mechanics are competent. The music is a bit strange, but quite pleasant.
Those were cool boss fights! A bit long without ammo, perhaps, but the mechanics were solid! Although, the first time I beat the map boss, I hadn't beaten the key boss, so I got blown up with no chance.
In the starting area, the enemy shooting sounds stack together and become considerably louder than everything else.
The resolution seem a bit large.

Glad you enjoy it, yeah the boss fight without ammo is supposed to be long because i wanted player to manage their ammo hahaha.
About the boss fight i think i will increase the time so that you're able to kill the key boss before you get blown up.
Yeah the sound need to be fixed, ill do that after the jam end.
The resolution is 160*144 it just scale up for better play

I like the color palette you went with! The enemies were very neat too. I had a bit of a hard time with the boss, trying to tell how much my actions were doing. But otherwise very solid entry!
thank you so much, yeah i want to make a megaman/contra like bossfight but im not very experience yet, just started learning making games 2-3 months ago, and this is my first ever game jams hahaha

there is an exploit if you go in and out of the Engine room after beating the boss you get infinite ammo
hahaha that is intentional, you can even get infinite ammo before beating the boss.
The music was fun and quirky. I like the slide ability of the character and the wall slide was well done too.

The game seems great, and the art is very nice, though the gameplay is very confusing, and I couldn't figure out how to beat the boss fight, as it seemed to last forever.
thank you! i wanted to make a game where you can explore any way you wanted, but i probably should have added tutorials, btw can i know which boss you have a hard time figuring out? i want to update it when the jams ended.
