I really liked the sfx here and the monster! Unfortunately the game would often bug out when a dialogue popped up for me :'(

Developer

What happens when it bugs out? How did you played it? I haven't any bug with the dialogues...

Submitted(+1)

So when a dialogue popped up the game would randomly freeze - I could not see what I did except like interacting with the objects. It would not close the dialogue and the game would not respond at all. Tried all the keys on my keyboard and with controller too to see if it was somehow related to the inputs, but I couldn't pin it down :X

I am not sure what caused that...
If you still want to try the game I would suggest to download the rom and play it with your preferred gameboy emulator.

I am not sure either,,, It might have just been an issue on my end,,, Yeah I will try that!!

Nice tense atmosphere you got here, very solid entry. Congrats!

Developer

Thank you so much! I tried all the tricks in the book(that I know).

I like the tension that the monster sounds added.

Developer

I had a lot of fun making the sounds actually. I am glad you liked it!

Really cool, I got two of the 4 endings (I don't get how I could get the other 2), the background noise really adds to the atmosphere and the monster design is a bit scary, specially when it chases you. I admit I got jumpscared when I tried to approach it and it came running towards me at the bottom right of the map haha. Nice game, really impressive for 3 days!

Thank you for playing my game! Yeah I put a lot on the atmosphere, it does a lot to a game like that.
If you got the endings by getting items, think what happens if you don't.

For 3 days worth of work, I think this is impressive! I think you did a good job the jump scares and the sound effects of the monster moving and munching really helped sell the atmosphere and tension. The only con was gameplay wise I wished the items could be used more meaningful but I think you ran out of time. Good work!

Developer

Thank you so much for your kind words! I really tried to plan what exactly I wanted for the 3 days I had. I really didn't have the time to do anything more complicated.

Hey! Cool game, I loved the atmosphere and the jump scares. You got me good the first time I got attacked. Nice work, definitely feels like a GB game. Thanks for making this, I had fun!

Developer

I am really glad that you liked it!
