Undertale meets Missingno! A brilliant concept with a fantastic execution.

Unique puzzle mechanic, I love it!! I might put it on a flash cart if you come back to add more levels :D (and fix the framerate, haha)

This is really cute, I love the reaper! I like that you had a bit of random level generation. I wish the high score wasn’t limited by random chance though!

This is great! Puzzle difficulty is hard to balance when you’re a solo dev, but I think you did a really good job of it!

It’s been so long since I played a good tower defence, thank you for the nostalgia!

(PS, Chicken Towers are awesome)

Short but efficiently creepy, very Lovecraftian!

I love the pig sprites. Got a chuckle out of me, it’s a very silly game :) Now I want ’cado toast.

I made a couple sales on my first GB Studio game, and thought it was only fair that came back to pay for my copy of GB Studio.

Thank you Chris!

Fantastic art and music, really solid game! Getting to choose a costume was my favorite part. The only thing I struggled with was knowing which keys went to which door. After trying every door I’d seen up to that point, I was a little worried I broke the game.

I haven’t played a text adventure like this in so long, thanks for the nostalgia! Obvious exits are: North, South, and… Dennis.

So creepy!

Everything about this game is perfect. I might have to take a break for a bit so I’m not comparing every other game too harshly against this one.

You have a great start on a really cool game! It’s too bad you ran into last minute trouble, I’d love to try it again if you do a post-jam update!

Excellent job of highly polishing a project that is very limited in scope. The changing masks was really juicy!

The recovered/corrupted game meta-story you have going on is such a cool setup for a whole series. Great job with this one!

This is fantastic, well done! Really feels like a complete game.

I love the idea, I can imagine it being a fun game based on the visuals you’ve shared. Hope to see more!

The intro sequence was very charming, I wish you could have had more time to iron out the rest!

You hear the horse’s butt muffle approval.

Learning new moves felt cool. Loved seeing a cluster of goblins in a row right after I got the dash attack!

Dawson is adorable. They should be in costume!

I love TIC80, and you’re the first person I’ve seen use it in this jam. So since this game isn’t working I played though “The Wizzard’s Tower” instead :D

I love the zombie chomp sound. HAUUMCH!

I remember having a scrolling shooter for gameboy that was vertical instead of horizontal. I think that would solve your issue with all of the projectiles going invisible, since it would cut back on the number of sprites in each scanline!

It looks like you’ve been building on this world for over a year now? The lore goes deep!

I rate it a Fart out of Fart for quirkiness!

I found another one!

This is amazing. I love seeing games that were coded with GBDK! I can imagine using a link cable to duel my best friend in elementary school…

It’s your heavy usage of the same tiles, placed in such a way that they never feel too repetitive… That’s the “It needs to fit on as cheap of a cartridge as possible” vibe that most GB Studio games are missing.

I like your upgrade system, very roguelite!

The text at the very end of the good ending is hysterical!

Jumpscared by the ending sounds! Ahh!

Cool mechanics, can’t wait to continue working forever after I die

No idea what I’m doing but it looks really cool as I do it! The lighting effects in the platformer sections are the best

Great job on the graphics! They have an extremely gameboy feel.

So inspiring to see gb ROMs coded like this! Amazing work!

Horror games about doing chores are the best horror games.

“Vegetarian… How about some pumpkin soup? OH NO IT’S A PUMPKIN PERSON! FRIES! FRIES!”

Super cozy game, love it.

Very cool! The end of the first hallway was my favourite. Even the first room was hard for me, so I don’t think I’ll be able to make it through chapter 1.

Really well done, especially the boss fight!

I can’t believe you used GBDK for this gamejam, that’s so cool! This is the first game I’ve seen run on hardware without using GBStudio!

How could you tease us like this
