Great start here (fixed version). Also, was that "Barbie Girl" referenced in the music? Caught me off guard and made me chuckle.
Yep, that reference was intentional! At first it was a happy accident when that melody came out, but then I decided to lean into incorporating it. Thanks for trying out the project!

Very nice artwork! I tried the fixed version and I think there was a problem with the ghosts. I dodged the first one but in the rightmost room I noticed that I could simply walk past them and nothing happened.
Appreciate you taking the time to play! Yea at this moment we didn’t come up with ideas on what cheeky things will happen when a ghost touches the player. Any ideas? :)

I played the full game that you put in the description, it did get pretty laggy when I got to the scene with the two ghosts
I like the art style and the idea, it's such a shame you couldn't upload the full game :(
this actually happened to me too, in my first game jam game, it was a brackeys game jam
it felt terrible, but participating in the game jam was still fun
