How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
It's an RPG game set during halloween, with lots of halleween themed creatures

Pretty fun RPG. I do like that battles are you surviving so you don’t get any exp.

Impressive entry!  The RPG combat is fun, and the world feels alive.  The little intro 'quest' was a nice touch.  It was helpful being able to save too, I don't think I would have gotten far without that.

Great Turn Based RPG! Unfortunately my game crashed after the first encounter in the house in the bottom right but I think the turn based combat was done really well. There are a few minor problems I have with it, such as there being no music, random encounters are slightly too frequent and the enemy health bars are bugged and don't display the correct amount of health.

Ah, I looked into the crash. It happens when you attempt to leave the house without carrying the key/killing the ninja. I'll upload a patched version after the jam is over.

The lack of music is indeed a shame. I'd love to have added some, but both my wife and my composing skills are not quite good enough, and we ran out of time.

Thank you for playing and enjoying the game though!

I SAVED THE TOWN…

RPGs are really hard to balance in a game jam, you did a great job of it!

Thank you for your nice comments! We just winged it (it's my first RPG ever), and I'm happy that it came out well
