Really good game! I like that slimes attack diagonally. Really makes you think before moving. Good job!
Nice little game and concept! one of the things i found difficult was just visual overload? there's a lot going on with detail in the screen and i almost found it a bit distracting between the enemies' and the player slimes.
I suck at puzzlers so maybe a few easy ones before it gets to difficult :D
Thanks for the feedback! Playtesting for difficulty is something we really could have used just a little more time on hahah
And we originally had the player characters a different color for better readability but realized we had one too many colors and had to shuffle around at the last second!
Really scratches that advance wars itch. Great Job!
I really liked how all the units worked together. The UI was very well explained.
Sometimes I wanted the enemy's turn to speed up, and there were a few moments where the UX froze, but these are elements of polish that are best reserved for after the jam.
Very enjoyable entry! One of the highlights for me.
I dont like this type of games but... BUT this was really good!!! Art is amazing, music is amazing, gameplay is amazing, i want more!
It was really well done, but I ran into a runtime error as soon as the salt flats started.
Crap, could you tell me what it said?
Ahh.. I think it was something like..
Error in dist(e.x,e.y), tried to get index of nil e
It happened right after the title screen for salt flats, before the level loaded. Hope this helps :)
Thanks, I definitely know what that means….but I have no idea why it would happen there. Off to do more testing. I really appreciate you getting back to me though, this is really helpful :)
Nice!! First off, I gotta say that the sound effects are basically perfect. It made even moving a cursor around enjoyable :) The art was good, the level design was fun, what else could you want from a tactics game?
I love it. All of a sudden I’m having Advance Wars flashbacks. You did a great job of designing the strategy elements, the graphics are great, and the audio is very fitting. I thought I was killing it until the Dune golem hit me hard. I can see myself coming back to this one. Again great job!
Thanks! And to be honest, that Dune Golem gets me every time too XD
