Great game. Only thing that irritated me a bit was the animation of the title screen which is not very smoothly. Other than that solid work!

Great take on the top down shooter genre !
I was actually getting tired of top down shooters in this jam, but this one was refreshing ! the mobility is nice, the possibility to shoot and melee really enjoyable and the main mechanic of getting your health back when you've hit enough enemies makes you try to take risks and it's really satisfying when you can press 'E' when you only have a few HP left!
I like the art style too !

Amazing entry, I had a lot of fun!

Huh, that's the good example how the same idea could be realised in different ways! While in mine game you lose resource only upon killing an enemy, yours one takes it upon each attack. Excellent to be researched xD

So, the atmosphere is really nice touch - the lights, the palette - all was in handy to create right mood. Liked it. Gameplay is great paced, however, difficulty raises a bit too fast, as for me. Two kind of attacks with their own goal is pretty good idea too, however, it could be developed even further, I believe! For example, melee could be used for finishing wounded enemies, while shooting can debuff, for example.

Tutorial is very well done, that's a big plus.

Overall, very quality entry and a good basis for a further work. Thank you for this entry!

Had a lot of fun playing this one! Intuitive and responsive controls, and it felt juice with the particles. Also really appreciated the art and vibe and the ai worked well! Good work!

The theme fits very well with the mechanic of losing you hp if you attack, its a constant game off rip enemys and recover healt. Literally fore every shoot you make, you pay the price with your life. Very good :D

This game looks great, and the interactive tutorial was definitely a nice touch. The only thing I would suggest is to make it a little bit more clear when you take damage, as I wouldn't realize how low I was until I was about to die.

The game mechanics for health/attacking is super cool, and demands immediate implication. The tutorial is very well done.

For all I know, this is one of the game which honor the theme the most.

Great overall execution, fun game!

I enjoyed the presentation a lot and game play was smooth overall. I like the idea of attacks costing you health, it was a creative way to fit the theme.

I really enjoyed the feeling of  absorbing heath by pressing "E".But it's a bit difficult for me.I tried 3 times and failed the beat the boss.

The idea of hp being your resource management is a fun one!

The attacks and dashing felt fun to play with, I would recommend adding a bit more to the background music.

The blood FX on the kills felt juicy, could maybe be moved off the screen quicker after, as that started to clutter the enemies and make it harder to see what is going on.

Overall it is a good game and I had fun playing!

Love the twist of using Life Points as mana.  Visually it looks really good.  Lacking a bit of feedback on audio and music to be more juicy !
Thx for the game
