Everything solid except the controls. Unfortunately, one wrong decision to put the x button for the dash makes the game very difficult to play. Too bad.

The game's concept is interesting. I think if you were to enable arrow keys instead of just the WASD keys for movement, the game would be better.

Developer

im starting to think i should add a few things but i already submitted it so...

It controls good and the graphics are nice. I dunno if it's just me, but I find it hard to dash with x when the movement is with a & d. Kinda forces you to cross your hands donnit? Anyway, once I got used to that, it was pretty good.

Developer

didnt realy think about that i would just switch my thumb from space bar to the dash button

That's some Dark Souls mapping action right there. :D

Very competent! The controls, if a bit strangely mapped, function quite well. The level design was pretty good. The last level had some clever precision platformer design; even when I failed, I understood why I failed quite clearly!

A couple of notes about the audio: holding down the menu buttons seems to repeat the sounds, causing them to stack on top of each other quite loudly. Also, the menu and death sounds are a bit louder than the other sounds.

As for as control schemes, I think adding the arrow keys for movement, Z for jump, as well as right-side keys like J or K for the jump and dash, would do a lot for the keyboard controls. If you want a good "left-hand-only" scheme, I would recommend adding LShift to dash as well.

Good work!

Happy to hear you enjoyed it!   it was only after i submitted that i thought about arrow keys and im just used to the WASD movement so i ran with that.

Had some good potential. Just struggled with the keys. Use the arrow keys and x and space would have worked better. I like the dash animation how did you achieve that?

Developer

For the dash animation i just used the shadow clones extenstion wich creates replicas of the player after him

It's too hard to jump onto the third platform

This game suffers from its control scheme, I feel. Using A and D to change direction with X being the dash button feels really clunky. I didn't get very far for this reason.

Developer

Im Sorry To Here! what do you think will be a better control?

Pretty unplayable
