As a pirate fan this was a must play for me :D
Really liked the battle system and that you could choose different classes.
I'd like some of that delivered cake tbh

Developer

Glad you liked it!

Well done with that game ! also check out mine ! 😉

The game is fun, but I found aiming to be hard

Developer

I guess thats what's the main challenge is. Will reconsider.

Great game. I really like the different classes you can play as

Developer

Thank you! That was the point: to make it replayable.

It’s a lot of fun to play, great game! The details are well done, with lots of emoticon bubbles representing the player character's reactions. The mini-games are also very interesting!

The camera of game over scene  out of focus and all objects move to the right side of the screen.

Come on, I like your work very much. I have collected it and look forward to a more complete version in the future!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, camera needs work. I'll fix it post-jam.

Nice work, I thought about making a pirate game once using the same assets. YOu did a better job than i could of. I would just swap the keys to wasd if using the mouse aswell.

This is very well put together nice work

I love the graphics, the backstory, the music, and me going around blasting pirate ships and barriers to accomplish the game's main objective. There were some issues I had with the game, however.

-It was hard trying to focus on moving around and aiming my cannons to fire at the enemies. If I run into another enemy or into a corner while I'm fighting, then I'm screwed.

-Perhaps it would be better if the player were to visit the shops and the roulette wheels by going near them and pressing a key. I would also like it if the player were to visit the shops more than once.

Nonetheless, I was still able to beat the game and had a good time doing so.

Developer

Thank you for the detailed feedback! Glad you had a good time :D

This game was really cute! I did find the non-liner stat-raising stuff cool, though unnecessary.

The game was quite difficult, though I persevered and beat it!

Overall, really nice little game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing through!
The stat-rising is the mechanic to heal and prep for the next set of enemies.

Ah, that explains a bit. (Sorry I might have come off a little pretentious in my previous statement.)

Developer(+1)

Nah, you made a lots of sense. I think that this game does not give the players clue regarding this.

Submitted(+1)

This game is hard but fun. Good job.

Developer

Thank you! Happy to hear you enjoyed it :)
