Great platformer but Rex and Lena can go very far and skip most platforms (Rex because he has a lot of acceleration, Lena because lightweight and double jump). Biomes and music changes are really cool by the way !
Nice layout, consistent visual style and good looking level designs. It's a bit more Sonic than Mario with the acceleration, but should be a simple fix with a bit of fine tuning. But I know for jams there's never enough time to iron out every wrinkle. Good job!
Cool retro-looking game!
I wish the controls were slightly easier to learn.
Wow that little dinosaur can really move. This is almost like Mario. Well done!
Pretty neat design and sound effects! Tho controls might need a little bit of tweaking, like Lena could go all the way to China with one double jump and a couple of speed potions XD. But other than that, pretty cool game!
LOL for sure thanks for the feedback! Noted.
Excellent map design, very Mario style.
The jumping feel just isn't very good and I feel like it needs some adjustment, especially when it comes to forward sprinting and jumping.
Gotcha! Thanks for the feedback! I'll make sure the movement is better tuned next time.
The game plays well--but I couldn't get past the first map since the dino sped up too quickly which meant that I couldn't see where the platforms were. I did find the dino fun to control tho! I also really enjoyed launching the dino super fast and dodging all of the bee projectiles. This could make for a really sick bullet hell!
Thank you! It is kind of a challenging playthrough even for me. I just didn't have enough time to fine tune some of it but thanks for the input man I'll note this for the next one! Glad you liked it.
