The art style definitely stands out here the most, and the story is quite captivating! Great job y'all!

Lovely art, interesting approach to the theme and I love multiple endings!
I got Caught And I was it was talking about pony or something
8/10 this game is pretty good
This hooked me, I had to give it a few tries. Nice, expressive characters. Very memorable game
Nice game, I managed to get all 3 endings! I like the art too. My only suggestion would be a setting for "dialouge speed" so faster readers don't have to wait on the dialouge. If you plan on working on your game after the jam I'd love to see different criminal stories and maybe more dialouge options and scales!
Such amazing art direction! Loved it! The gameplay has potential, though in it's rough state, can leave just a little bit to be desired. I also did find the writing to be somewhat stiff at times, though you have such an amazing starting point for a game! Keep going!
The art style is just perfect, well done can you please play my game to get feedback!
Amazing art style. Love the balance mechanic for the conversation. well done!
Got the Happy Ending? This was well scoped and executed! I feel like it would have been legitimately interesting had I explored the other routes there is to take with this game.
Thanks for noticing! We were very careful when we planned this project to set up design pillars and stay within scope!
If you wanna see more routes, you could mess around with the dialogue options now to see what makes the detective more suspicious or see what hurts Mr. Torrence's sanity more but honestly, after the rating period and judging period, we plan to put out a patch that elongates the game, incorporates early game overs, shows the player what options affect which stats, and adds at least one additional ending--keep your eyes peeled!! :D
This was funny and more fun than I expected a text adventure to be. My only critique is that you didn't base the game around the instability you spoke of in the description. It would be great if you had some mechanic like having damning answers be the only choice after holding it together too well for too long or something like that. Still an awesome concept and funny little session. Please expand.
Edit: upon closer inspection, there IS a stability mechanic. My apologies. It's not as obvious on the first playthrough. I'm sure if you expand the story, this mechanic will shine in many creative ways. Keep building.
Cool idea for the theme of the jam! Love the visual of the scale to keep track of how the interrogation is going and the art is great too! This is just a me issue, but I'm a bit of an impatient reader and wish the progression/skipping to fully typed out text was more responsive.
Congrats on your first game on itch.io and your first jam submission! I loved the drawings you did for the game, and I loved the different choices I could make to get different endings. The detective sure is unhinged in both of the endings (which I won't reveal due to spoilers). o_O
Oooh the character art is cool! It's very polished! Detective Firewall really puts the pressure on, and Mr. Torrence is unbelievably smug (except when he loses control of the narrative). The writing is also pretty good. It's a great take on the theme!
Good job on including volume options.
Fantastic! Great work!
That was fun.
Very atmospheric with unique art.
The endings were very entertaining.
Really like the sharp art style and the noir vibe. It was fun trying to get all the endings, good work!
Wow, that was fun to play and see the different endings :D
