Wow! Just a fantastic physics puzzler! The art is both adorable and readable, and the input is smooth and intuitive.

Hey, you're Clark Padmore--you won last year's Jam! Thanks so much, the praise means a lot coming from you since your winning entry was also a puzzle game with awesome retro art. I learned a lot playing your game. And extra thank you for playing to the end and even copping the high score! There were a couple things that made the game harder than I intended, so I don't blame some players from stopping midway through. Cheers!
Really fun (and funny) game! The octopus bartender kinda reminds me of that one DLC in Octodad. Love the unique gameplay of gently moving wine glasses! The existence of achievements was an addition that surprised me, one of the few games this jam to have them! I can imagine future levels having bottles and more kinds of glasses that'll need adjusting (maybe a level could even involve tipping over a bottle to pour its contents into a shot glass?)
Another feature for a future update that'll help would be the ability to move the arms up and down a bit for even more control over them!
Thank you so much for playing and for the detailed feedback. Those are great ideas! I was considering different glasses with different centers of gravity but pouring a drink would be so much for fun and unique! And the ability to control the hands when you want to try a different maneuver could be the thing to get the game over the edge to unlock a new level of complexity. Thank you again so much!
This game is awesome! The art music mechanics and theme are all working together perfectly. I found it super unique and satisfying having to be precise while controlling both arms! I was playing on my large monitor and I had to zoom the page out to see everything. I also ran into a bug on level 6 where the arm on the right side of the screen wasn't really working properly. Regardless this is my favorite game so far and I give it 5 stars all around! Love the simple well thought out mechanic!
Thank you so much for your really kind praise and feedback! A few folks have had the zoom problem, so I'm going to try to get to the bottom of that and find out what's causing it. The arm getting stuck behind the glass or sometimes not coming out at all in the beginning is a bug I ran into as well when I was replaying after I'd submitted, so now I know it's not just a one off thing and needs to be fixed, cheers!
And I'm so happy you liked the game and the mechanics. Fine line between fun and frustrating, and while I know it's quite challenging for some players, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I think my favorite game of the jam so far, in that its quite fun and a good challenge, makes great use of the theme, and the execution of this great octopus bartender character is very funny and really brings the game to the next level. Thanks for submitting!
Whoa. This is one of the most addictive games I've tried at this jam!
Really good game! Can get frustrating sometime but nothing is impossible with a little perseverance. Good graphisms and sound design too!
Thank you so much! A lot of players have mentioned the difficulty is a bit of a hurdle and I think some tweaking with the values in the physics engine might be able to make it a bit easier to recover and stabilize. Appreciate the feedback and so glad you liked the graphics and audio--probably the parts that I spent the most time on this jam 😊
Octopus Bar tender X octagon Plus... Sorry I get Hype. This game puts your balance skill into a test. The music it's really cool, and the protagonist has a lot of charisma... I don't have an ultra-wide screen, so I have to move the screen... But for me that was part of the challenge, the level 8 it's harder than you think, but if you reach that, you are going to enjoy it.
Thank you so much for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the game (and especially the music!). Level eight definitely needs a rework and sometimes the final balancing act on the umbrella doesn't seem to work properly. Thanks for pointing out the screen issue as well, that's a problem I always have in jams and I thought I figured out what was causing it, but clearly not. I'll need to do some testing to clean that up. Cheers again!
This game was really well done, and takes unstable to a meaning I never thought of. Overall really good game!
Fun game. It seemed a bit hard at some points, and the design is not my taste ... but it's fun to play. I was able to finish it, but the user login didn't work because of the screen orientation ... maybe it would be better to log in at the start
The concept is cool, funny and original, really like the take on the theme. The art is cute and the music relaxing. Sadly on level 6 the right arm got stuck in one of the glasses and I didn't find a way to restart the level without restarting the entire game. Other than that, great work!
Fun idea and fits the theme perfectly! I like the name, the art style... Everything! :D
Thank you! I was worried it would have been too literal of an interpretation of the theme, but I'm happy with the way it turned out. So happy you liked it too! And especially happy you liked the art. This is the first Jam when I really tried to keep it visually consistent, with some variety in the sprites (Spent hours in Procreate!). Cheers!
This game is great and so original, unlike anything else I've played in the jam so far. had a lot of fun playing this one good job!
Wow, the pop up achievements on top of everything else, cherry on top.
This feels like a professional game. I'll never look at octopus the same again.
You're too kind! I always focus so much on the gameplay and then run out of time and end up with very unpolished infrastructure around my game, so my goal this time was to go all out to make all the little things look pretty and feel good. Glad it paid off! (And looking forward to have a laugh from your games in future jams!)
Cool little physics game, some of the leveles are challenging but overall it motivates to continue trying.
Would be nice if you implement mouseclick controls.
I like the animation after the glass felt down to the ground and it is flying up with some wings. :)
